- Young's Stores on South Lane used to be a great shop but is rapidly going down hill. It seems to be turning into a dirty off licence these days. The Co Op on the other side of the village is much nicer and cheaper.
- I sell magazines, £4.50 per 100g
- The Magic Box in Drift Road is great for getting any unusual or specialist maagazines ordered - nothing is too much trouble.
- Magic Box needs to be boycotted, ever since they ID'd me for a lottery card (I was 18 hahaha)
- Plenty the best places are Cost Cutter ,The co-op and Londis in old Clanfield ,they have a wide viriaty of magazines.Also the Magic box or the sun.
- The Heslop shop has been closed and is now 2 houses.

- The multi-coloured Heslop Shop on Drift Road if you want to see a shop in decline, also Magic Box and J. Youngs. None are brilliant, but you can always get your copy of The News (Pompey FC sponsors) there.
