You can tell us more about Cleator Moor.

Pubs
  • dont go drinking on the moor they are all smack heads and will rob ya ..bloke called little ..grass
  • watch ya back in the commercial, the vic is like a sitting room, so is the wheatsheaf, moffats is old fashioned but a good pint, globe has had a facelift and looks ok, top house is ok for sport as its next to the rugby club, the brook tries its best and the three tuns is going through a re-vamp but is still just a quiet village pub.
  • NOT MANY PUBS LEFT THESE DAYS ON THE MOOR. 'MOFFATS' IS OK IF YOU LIKE SPORT WITH TWO BETTING SHOPS WITHIN SPITTING DISTANCE ITS GOOD FOR HORSE RACING. ALSO HAS A POOL ROOM. LANDLORD HAS BEEN THERE FOR YEARS SO RUNS A DECENT PUB. THE COMMERCIAL IS A NICELY DECORATED PLACE BUT HAS NEW LANDLORDS EVERY 12 MONTHS OR SO, THEREFORE A LOT OF BANNED PEOPLE GET BACK IN AT EVERY CHANGE.ALSO HAS A POOL TABLE. THE WHEATSHEAF IS A SMALL SINGLE ROOM PLACE, WITH NO POOL TABLE. THE VIC ISN'T MUCH BIGGER AND IS A SHORT WALK FROM THE SQUARE. THE GLOBE HAS CLOSED DOWN THE DERBY ARMS IS CLOSED DOWN. LITTLES ARMS(AKA THE TOP HOUSE) HAS A DECENT HOUSE AT WEEKENDS AND HAS A POOL TABLE, BUT LIKE MOST PUBS IS QUIET THROUGH THE WEEK. THE BROOK AT CLEATOR HAS ITS OWN REGULARS AS ITS A BIT OF THE BEATEN TRACK. BUT HAS A FEW DRINKERS FROM CLEATOR NOW AS THE THREE TUNS HAS CLOSED. THE ROBIN HOOD AND NEW CROWN ARE BOTH GOOD PUBS BUT ARE AT BOWTHORN WHICH IS ABOUT HALF A MILE FROM THE SQUARE AND HAVE THEIR OWN REGULARS.
  • THE PUBS ARE GREAT IF YOU WANT A GOOD HIDING FOR LOOKING AT SOME ONE
  • Derby Arms
  • Plenty of pubs, plenty of morons that drink in them.
  • Get on down to "Moffats", the best pub in the north, for real good crack. If your lucky you may get to see big "Woodies" world famous domino team in action!. Maybe get their autographs.
  • Whoever it was mentioned the "time tunnel" as opposite the chemists has obviously not been there!. The Globe, as it is properly named is in fact quite a distance from the chemists.
  • Moffats - Good Landlord, friendly atmosphere and you dont get any trouble in here unlike some of the other pubs on cleator moor. The Globe - Open all hours, just dont use the toilets, the trenches in the first world war were more hygenic than in here Commercial - most of the local clowns go in here, old mans pub can get trouble in here. The Vic - Nicw pub, just like sitting in your front room, can be quite quiet at times The Club - Semms to be the in spot at the minute, big screen for the footy matches, great looking bar maids, music acts on a sat and sunday, cheap drink.
  • The time tunnel (you get in and you cant get out) opposite the chemists
