• There is no such thing as an "outside" world to people of Cleator Moor, like early explorers who thought you would fall of the edge of the world, inhabitants of the "Moor" generally work on the principal that walking as far as you can in a day with a whippet, brings you to the edge of the known world! which is roughly to "The Stork" inn at Rowrah, after that everything ends... There is also no greater monetry unit greater than a dole cheque, anyone who claims to work for a living,have savings,pension,their own home,be honest,have no criminal record,got furher than "The Stork" inn,been on holiday to another country (not Wath Brow),etc etc etc is looked on with suspicion and generally eaten,beaten up,run out of town or in most cases branded as "The Fool".

• Unfortunately, this town has the absolute worst streets for dog shite! I've never known a place like it. Everywhere is covered in the stuff! If it was cleaned it wouldn't be a bad wee town. Some nice totty knocking about too
