looking for a poodle by James (Member 10229087) on 16-Jul-2008
I would like to buy a poodle, does anyone know someone with some pups? the fluffball is not for me, it's actually for my wife, as now we're retired we can actually be there to train it. Offers of similar small dogs are welcome, but I think the wife is very much set on the poodle.

Thanks

Just to add, I'm also willing to hear of any rescue centres that may have poodles, or similar manageable dogs for a newly retired couple.

My gran was born in Whitehaven to Richard and Rebecca Biggs (nee Dobson)The Dobsons were born in Cleator I think.
There were lots of children, all showing up on the 1901 census - Philip,Rebecca,Christena,,Rachel,George
does anyone have any links to them?
Eventually the family moved to the north east, but some may have stayed.
Thanks
