  • Best things about grimsby... hmm... There are nice places in grimsby it just depends if the alcos are their yet. If you get up really early you can go for a nice long walk in weelsby woods and nobody will try to attack and rape you. Peoples park can also be nice when its safe. Lovely pond and trees when they are not being attacked by school kids. The dock tower, come on love it or hate it its grimsbys land mark and what we are known for. Not being chav and townie dominated. There are some kewl social groups like the less emotional emos outside of saint hames and the grimsby goffs who hang out at the oak tree occasionally. Open relious tolerance. Lots of pagans and witches in grimsby just gotta open your eyes!

  • When I grew up (early 1980s) there really weren't too many hurdles, nasties or hazards in a town the size of Clps. Nice. Sadly, life moves on (or should that be down, or sideways or something?)
  • jobs for kids in d summer
  • The Beach, walking the dog on a brezy sunday afternoon really sweeps away the hangover cobwebs!!!
  • Cleethorpes and Grimsby is weird because it's ment to be a small place... but I see people everyday who I've never seen before... join the two together and give us a cathedral we would make an ace city:D:D:D the kids know how to have a good time and the adults know how to let them, that's the main thing... some people give us a bad name by fighting all the time though
  • The best things about Cleethorpes are Symours, Pleasure Island for the kids and the wonderland market. Top class!
  • Nothing.
  • Moz's shed.
  • Cleethorpes is bright sunny and there is plenty of stuff to do.... ish.

  • My FAVORITE thing (PLACE)in Cleethorpes has GOT to be The Games Room in The Beachcomber Holiday Village!! It's wicked!! There's loads to do for kids, and the people there are BRILLIANT! They're REALLY nice. So, if you're on holiday, and you've got nothin 2 do, and you're stayin at the Beachcomber, go up there and have a look. You'll be amazed!!
  • Pleasure Island Theme Park is pretty good in the summer, but don't go when it's raining, it makes it look even drearier than it does anyway.
  • 50 minutes away from Doncaster and links out of this godforsaken part of the country.
  • It never changes!!Having lived there for 15 years of my life, I should know.Familiarity, comfort, predictability and certainty has its place......well, at least for boring, sad, no-lifers who have no future but to think being a professional entails a full time job at Primark. Erm......struggling....ok, cheap shops down Freemo, fisnnchips. An egoboost is provided to those who return, having escaped....aaah, SMUG MODE.LH
  • i love working in this town, the people are nice, well kindof, sometimes.
  • The best thing for me is coming home from San Francisco (I live here now) and seeing that nothing has changed, it`s brilliant. People may have more kids or the pubs may have a different name but it is practically the same .. ha-ha. My dad is still hanging out in the usuall haunts which adds to the glee. I love it, feels good to go away and come back.
  • Oh my god - Patterson's Pickle is the best in the world. I've imported it over to Manchester, all who try this delicacy want more and more. Manchester is calling out for a weekly shipment of Pickle.
  • It has the potential to be knocked down! SOON!
  • Willys - cool atmosphere to get off your tits!
  • SEYMOURS CLUB AND THE BARGAIN SHOP IN TOWN
  • clubbing ,
  • We get some of the best weatherin England although that isn't saying much. The Lindsey School. What a fine institute of learning it is.
  • Cleethorpes beach The Fishing Heritage Centre
  • The 14 year olds waiting outside the arcades for a man with a car to pull them. Entrants under the age of 18 or without a car need not apply. The whole scene is great especially near the Boating Lake and Haverstoe Park for the cider drinkers on a weekend although we went on the park every night.
  • New Year's Eve, stormy summer evenings,
  • Hull cruises when everybody shows off in their cars on the pav (pavillion) carpark Freedom Best dance place in cleethorpes £10 entry
  • Best thing are totally rad skaters and the offices and courts up Grimsby town.

  • I think you should mention that BLUR have played the pier and Cleethorpes also hosts Democracy, mentioned on Pete Tong's essential selection and has had people such as Alistair Whitehead and Boy George dj there.
  • After a night at the clubs everybody piles into Kentucky Fried Chicken in the market place for a greasy bite to eat after drinking in excess.
  • It is of course also the home of Grimsby Town Football Club who have a proud tradition of playing attractive football. Prices are very cheap and even though I am 19 I still get in as a junior (under 15) for only a fiver.
  • The Grimsby Evening Telegraph, a top local newspaper in which the NOW section on a Thursday is very good indeed. Grimsby Town FC based in Cleethopes is also a top football team. Lindsey School is also a superb school with a great sixth form. The high proportion of Gordon Strachen look alikes in the Aldrich Road area is another tourist attraction. A special mention also must go out to the Blonde glass collection in Willys pub. A night out in Cleethopes starting at The Wellow is guaranteed to be large and lively.
  • Lindsey school is the school to go to!
  • Sea, Sand Surf, low cost of living, village culture in med size town, countryside, friendly residents on the whole (you'll always get dick heads even in Utopia)
  • Fresh air, sand in your chips and thousands of fat Yorkies blocking your way down Wonderland.
  • Cheap, Yorkified and small
  • Local punk scene. The Caxton Theatre and all who sail in her.
