• lloyds on the riverhead do excellent bogof offers and as well as being cheap there gorgeous
• FISH AND CHIC STILL NUMBER 1 £1 FOR FISH N CHIPS
• scattered boxes around the town centers you know the refuse collectors. oh no thats jus what the food shops smell like
• MACCYS
• Caspers, best on a weekend after you've been drinking in the barge or been up at gullies. Cheap pizzas!
• most chippies down the front are cheap! the '24 hour chippie' (the one with the bench that isnt really 24 hours) is always handy!!

• Lloyds never fails for lunch with the girls, and for takeaways no one will beat st peters chinese!!
• POPULAR TAKEAWAY has the best chips in the town
• capri is nice to eat in, very friendly people. (italian) pepi's is probably top take out for pizza (italian) the raj is best for indian food to eat in or takeaway. never had a chinese in cleethorpes although ive heard 5 dragons is best!
• McDonalds, one of the fuckers on every corner.
• McDonalds, across the road from the boating lake. Full of legends.
• The Kebab House... mmmmmmm.
• Leaking boot Chippy... all is well apart from the staff... especially the blonde fat one with no personality that never smiles. or maybe she found out me and my ex (that she slept with) are now back together, and moving away... ... carry on serving mushy pea's you greasy faced muppet

• La Bella in the marketplace. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous garlic bread and ham and pineapple pizzas. Mmmmm. We finally have a McDonalds, too! It's on King's Road, opposite the boating lake, near Pleasure Island.
• That place above Wilko's (Grimsby) is good for Saturday shopping stops and Binns is good too. But the best restaurants in town are the Kingsway - really classy experience - and The Lost Shepherd (the trick is trying to find it - but the food is something else) - and Regan's on The Avenue.

• You can't beat meggies chips after a night at the Pier. only bad point are the desperate, sleazy blokes sitting on the sofa trying to pull anything in a skirt. Just leave us alone to enjoy our chips!!
• Macdonalds on Cleethorpes road if you want to meet half of the Cleethorpes Sixth form students then go there watch out for the food though!
• Marklews.....best fish and chips in the world....but don't go around 5-6pm as its dead busy.

• Little Italy. This is the place that everybody hangs around after all the nightclubs kick out. Also lots of good looking drunken males and females on the pull (Look out for all the underage ones JAIBAIT! )
• check out the Agrah indian restaurant in Seaview street for an excellent curry after a night of drinking beer.
• MARKLEWS FISH AND CHIP BEST IN TOWN YOU MAY HAVE TO WAIT A WHILE DEPENDING WHEN YOU GO ( ALWAYS BUSY ) BUT WORTH WAITING ( MIDDLETHORPE ROAD CLEETHORPES ) OR SUTHERLANDS ( ST PETER'S AVE CLEETHORPES )
• Everyone knows about leaving the Pier at 2am and eating chips with scraps and onion rings on the sofa outside the chip shop on the sea front.(who cares what its called?)
• Fish and Chips from Middlethorpe Road shops are the greatest in the UK.
• Ernie Becketts sells the most divine fish and chips in the world.
• Now, I do take a bit of exception here! The previous authors of the Cleethorpes inofrmation have obviously never eaten at Southie's (Southerland's). It has the best fish and chips in the UK and I shall soon be returning there to patronize them! (After 35 years in the USA!) Don't sell them short! And... the place is acceessible via wheelchair! :-)
• Steels (market place) and Suthie's (St peter's ave) chippies are the best in Cleethorpes
