The Stuff We Can't Fit In Somewhere Else
  • The pier - Victorian and unspoilt. Go and have a look at its silhouette at sunset. Beautiful! Don't forget your camera.
  • Occasionally you get a good looking one Clevedoner and even more rarely, someone clever (here, a person who communicates in something other than a system of grunts). Alarmingly, the parents are dimmer than the kids. Does this indidcate hope for future generations? No - the older they get, the stupider they become.
  • The Salthouse Clevedon Avoid Poor food bad service in fact shoddy. Had a bad greasy meal at The Salthouse recently. Was on a table of six. Placed an order and 50 minutes later 2 meals came. Then 4 more ten minutes later. When we tried to complain (in a queue behind A LOT of others), we were forced to wait 45 minutes to see the manager, and when we did were agressively abused. "Avoid The Salthouse pub in clevedon".
  • 'Silent Witness' was recently filmed in Clevedon on the so-called beach and also in the convent.
  • There is a very dark under bellie of drug smokers and drug delers and i mean you can easliy get ANY class A drug wanted
  • Clevedon is full of pot smoking folk who really don't care where they smoke, you will often see a bunch of young (and not so young) people smoking a mix somewhere especially up the beach.
  • Clevedon is full of donkey arse raping shit eaters that molest goats and pigs for a living.
  • Clevedon Army Cadet Force is the best cadet unit in Gibraltar Company - in fact, it is the best cadet unit in the Somerset Cadet Battallion!!!
  • Various parts of the film 'The remains of the day' starring Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson were filmed in Clevedon near the old bandstand, the town is also mentioned throughout the film. The famous painter JMW Turner used to paint sunsets in Clevedon. Sid Vicious, member of the Sex Pistols went to Clevedon Comprehensive School in the 1970's ... says a lot for the music dept!.... Oh, and he died of a drugs overdose...
