Skateboarding Spots
- The amazing new skatepark in the castle grounds.
Word of warning though, if you're a teenager try not to go alone, there have been a few serious fights so far.
- The new skatepark should be build around late summer, not great timing for the weather but you'll get the odd dry week
- There's a new concrete park planned on the site of the old wodden park. Check the website for more details: http://www.skateclitheroe.freeuk.com/index.htm
- the Emporium 6 is an alright set, its close to sainsbry's which is also alright for skatin. Candlemakers is a 6 or an 8 but is steep and hidden away (cant stay there long or Betty will get annoyed). The Interchange has curbs, rubbish benches and a little bank (very little). The castle has a few sketchy spots scaterd around it (one cool freestyle type raised round thingy, a bunch of sets in a row, a 2, 4, 4 and a 6 i think but its not as good as it sounds, the bandstand is a 2m drop of its top to the glass filled bottom, nice!!!). Ribby School is probbly the best spot if u want sets, theres a long 7, steep 10, two 6's and few others, plus a well cool bank just carefull about the little lip at the bottom, man that can hurt!!! Thats about it but if ur willin to travel round there are lots of little spots on there own, you just have to find them.
- The Sk8 park 'Skaters XL' is in the castle grounds that's alright
