- very high house prices means young people cant afford to live there,turning the town into a old folks club.

- The townies, yes I admit we have a lot, but they come from outside clitheroe. So do loads of people for a night out the sad buggers. The eruption of all these supermarkets. The skanky pubs, there are some nice beer gardens though when you go in a few. The lack of policemen, as if we had more, all those townies making clitheroe a "craphole" would be in prison where they belong!
