You can tell us more about Cockermouth.

Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
  • the place to go on friday and saturday now in cockermouth is wordsworth/ sams bar great night fantastic great atmosphere
  • well the OUTBACK kicks arse the people who work there need loadsa credit coz u work really hard and rock ur sox off everynight nd most of you are really fit lol, also areana is fairly good if your bored and also the globe where a few pals work so its fairly local
  • Outback is better than Arena simply because the drinks are cheaper, the staff are friendlier, it's more of a laugh, it's not as hot and sweaty, and the bouncers in Arena are just cocks. However dance floor is pretty small and the music is the same most weeks (but then so is Arena). Brown Cow and Black Bull pretty good....but generally would recommend Carlisle for a better and more varied night out. (ps: Mickey's was ace coz was a proper pub and everyone knows you but I spotted a y9 in there last year....what!!!)
  • kirkgate does all types music, recently T&La Touche (reggae) that was stomping
  • level 2 in workington
  • no way!!!!!!!! in cockermouth no chance try workington.
  • Outback behind the globe sams bar has gone n now its the arena! erm hunters n the rest aint very good
  • The Brown Cow pub in cockermouth is not a club but it comes close, its absolutley awesome, on friday nights the tunes are class, the DJ's are awesome at mixing and should be in a propper night club in workington. Brown Cow has also been classed as the Pub Of The Year 2003.
  • The Brown Cow - Cockermouth Pub Of The Year 2003. This is by far the best venue in cockermouth- not exactly a club but with an excellent light show and sound system (combined with the best DJs in the area) it may as well be. Open till 12 last orders so stay in l8!
  • no club is any good in cockermouth they are all cheesy as anything everyone just abandon cockermouth clubs save your money move to a city, have a better night out, im a regular at clubs in liverpool, manchester, bolton, preston and even nottingham ok im goth but who cares i used to go drinking with my mates round cockermouth (arena/outback) when i lived there, its a hole there is better dance clubs out there my freinds so try and experiance them. -ozzy
  • outback: awesome tunes, has pretty much the same every week just mixed up a bit, but you are usually tp pissed to tell anyways the arena: i hate this spot, it has the shittest songs ever and the bouncers are arseholes
  • OUT BACk is the place to pull theirs aload of desperate lads, but sadly it's getting spoilt by this 'years year 10's' now they're asking for ID coz ov em soooo dont bother your knackering it 4 other folk! and as for arena aka sams thats where people go who cant get in out back e.g goths and 13-14 yr olds!
  • Outback is supposed to be a decent club. My boyfriend goes there and all the girls chat him up but he turns them down coz he loves me!
  • Now cockermouth has finally got a night club it is an ace night out. There is a group on a saturday night til about 11.30 then the dance music starts. NO KIDS ARE ALLOWED which is a change for cockermouth. And another thing you are always guaranteed to pull!!!!!!!!
  • There aren't any! Sam's pretends.....
  • uncle sam's has a late license. but you'll be queuing forever if you try to get in any time after 10.30. it's hideously expensive too.
  • We don't have any clubs here. It is a sad state of affairs. The only place with a late license is Uncle Sam's, and you've got to be desperate to go there.
