bored and wanna go out !! by Sharon (Member 10142669) on 11-Jan-2005
I live in coleshill & have recently got divorced after being married for 20 yrs. Lost mates due to a whinging hubby so now am looking for a mate (female bout similar age - 41) to go out with for a drink and a giggle. Im no weirdo, just find myself on my own for the first time ever as an adult, so trying to get my life back in order. If you're in a similar situation, let me know and we'll see how it goes!!

Marston Green Maternity Hospital is where my Dad was born, and it's only down the road from my house. As you can guess, it was in Marston Green in Solihull (near Birmingham), and it did become a mental institute, but that's closed down too. I think they knocked down the building not that long ago......

The old hospital site was built on about 7/8 years ago. It is in the B37 postcode, the estate is called the maples/acorns at arden park. If you want to look on a map hunt for 'Hamar way'/'maple leaf drive'/'brooklands way', marston green. these are all on the site. i've looked on multimap and its not upto date! but it gives you the jist of where it was. hope this helps

The old Marston Green Hospital is now a housing estate.
The psychiatric hospital (Chelmsley Hospital) is still there but has been converted to offices.

Old School Friends by Hazel Prosser (Member 10019598) on 4-Apr-2001
Does anyone know there whereabouts of Lorraine Carter or Sally Allwood (maiden names)? They would be 30 now. We all went to Curdworth School and then I believe Lorraine & Sally went off to Coleshill. If anyone who would have been at Curdworth in the 70's remembers me please get in touch. I used to live in Oaklands from 1977 - 1981.

I lived at 54 Oaklands during the same time period. Did you ever find anyone from school.
