- The Manse, which would make an excellent pub. The gunpowder shed (where they stored gunpowder while they were building the pier in 19th c).

- There used to be what was really no more than a shed on the grassy brae above the public loos (I know , what an exquisite location!) that was called 'Cosy Neuk'. It was the coolest 'house' in the village! Sadly it was demolished several years ago.
