- Throughout the year, thousands of gigs take place throughout all the towns bars, but especially in its own theatre, the Municipal Hall. Lots of famous people play there and everynight theres something happening. But The august Bank holiday brings upto 70 000 people into the town throughout the world to the Famous blues festival. Many famous attend and even sing, there are also alternative stages, The Up 4 it stage being one, the largest stage of the festival

Municipal Hall: Albert Rd: 900 capacity: Lots of touring bands and shows. Steve Earl,Ike Turner,Albert Collins,Buddy Guy,Terrorvision, this year so far.
- Jim's Cafe - An alternative hang out. Also the Colne Muni - Has a great annual Blues Festival
