• Cafe Oba Oba has a range of prices for all pockets and food for all tastes from steaks (venison, veal, ostrich, fillet mignon) to real good Brazilian food. A Brazilian bistro in the middle of Conisbrough. Incredible.

• Bring back CASTLE FISHERIES!!!!! Although mrs lau's isnt bad, apart from when she lines the pattys up OVER AND OVER again and they keep falling down (u know wot i mean - claire!!)

• In the "town" centre - there's a Chinese restaurant/takeaway called "Tongs" (if you're eating in you might want to pre-book as they only have seating for about a dozen bums), 2 chip shops (Mr.Lau's & the other one that I can't remember the name of, but it was formerly Harry's & Castle Fisheries) which are both fairly typical chippys and "Gino's" pizza takeaway, who, it has to be said, do a mean chilli burger with cheese. On Sheffield Road (A630) there's "Mr.Khan's" which is a top notch curry house. The restaurant is quite large, they have a buffet night on Monday's (all you can eat for a tenner) and they also do home deliveries. There are other chip shops and takeaways throughout the village, but they're not so special that you'd go out of your way to find them, in fact you'd probably walk past them to go to one of the places I've mentioned already.
• GENOS CHEESE AND CHIPS (YUM!!!) ITS NOT TO EXPENSIVE AND HANDY TO VISIT ON A BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY WHEN YOU NEED FOOD AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN OUT ALL DAY AND ARE GETTING READY FOR THE NIGHT.

• Mr Kahns indian food is incredible. Gracious hosts and clean atmosphere.
• try a tuna bagette from cooplands, they are the best, you'll never look at another sandwich the same way again.
• Gino's pizza, Harrys fishbar- gravy like sludge!
• ginos is the best takeaway in cuni but there is also a nice cantonese place next to the church

• Gino's Pizza place, very full and loud on Friday nights!! The Terrace and Cromwells, both a little more up market!! Chimes, gorgeous homemade food, but you always need to book to get a table because it's quite small and very well liked. Golden Park (park road chippy), Kens and Golden Castle Chinese Take-Aways. Castle Fisheries, Mr laus chippy, and another one that I can't remember the name of!! Oh and there's a new Indian opening on Sheffield Rd.
