• The whole Town Centre . A small kiloton nuke would just about do it, although afterwards nobody would notice any difference. Hopefully the blast will be sufficient to down the 'girder girdle' erected some years back as presumably some attempt by the owners and/or council to look like they were redeveloping the town centre. This consisted of whacking up some left-over steel from the Works into some sort of industrial-sized pergula, painting it blue,then red, now green ( i think ), then sticking a wee sign on it that contravenes the trades description act by stating ' Welcome to Corby Shopping.' The rest of it could go to some future museum on the South Bank ( that's the Thames , not the Boating Lake )catering for any punters out there interested in being visibly aroused by keech-ugly fifties architecure.

• The town centre. I would never bring anyone I know from uni in london to corby. I would die of embarrasment. The shops are sh*t. There are too many card shops and supermarkets. At the multi storey entrance there is this grand looking sign saying "welcome to corby multi-storey", but when you actually see the multi storey you laugh at how f*cking sh*t it looks. The welcome sign just looks out of place. The council should forget the sign and build a new multi storey. Hell, they should build a new town centre. All of the tacky, trashy, sh*t, stinking, rough, ugly estates should be demolished cuz they house alot of scummy people that will never contribute towards the bettering of the town. The estates just make the town look like a war zone and partly contribute towards the amount of violence that occurs due to the rivalry's that have developed between the people living on each estate.
