  • Hi may name is John Proctor of St Cecilia and we have started playing again, I wonder if I could post a video of the group on the Noel Edmund show: http://212.219.116.40/~jproctor/Lectures/StCecilia300k.wmv We performend this in 1985, and at that time I used to drink in the Rockingham arms and I was trying to give advice on how to get a song released but everyone said I was to old and music had changed (true of course going grey then) and then the next day I got a call from the BBC asking if we could play, my friend Dave Dene said keep it quite until the show is on TV and give every one a shock so I did and when it was released it was a great ego boost Ps I think your site is great, as for the type of songs we did we where just trying to be successful naughty silly songs worked so we went with the flow, warmest regards John Proctor, sorry to ramble on.
  • My brother is in My Fallacy. Well he had to leave becuase of uni, but sometimes they do gigs. They performed at the speedway and the raven! They are called My Fallacy and won best coverws act last year. they are mainly rocky music. The guitarist is the bets (lol its my brother)
  • Our song Leap up and down with your knickers in the air was written by Keith Hancock Our base player and he also sang the song with me adding the harmony in the chorus, the part the Jonathan king played was a quick half our re-recording of the song because we had a changed drummer’s, And he arranged for use to get a release with Polydor records, If you check the record it will confirm who wrote the song here is a link to a short video of the group on the Noel Edmunds show (sorry about the quality) http://212.219.116.40/~jproctor/Lectures/StCecilia300k.wmv
