The Whitehaven police. by looking4luv (Member 10201340) on 8-Jun-2010
Just saw the news, police chased the man as he drove around shooting people. Did none of them think about driving into his car with their van!
I dont blame the bobby who followed in a taxi cab for stopping to give comfort to the taxi driver who was shot. (how do you give comfort to a dead man).I understand the police must of been scared. If the police are used to investigate the police I think th... more >>

Sad times indeed. More to come with Torry government announcing austerity cuts in benefits etc. They should start with their own pay & expenses and removing over paid and over staffed civil servants from their jobs.

  • Re: The Whitehaven police. by Cassandra3543 (Member 10237494) on 8-Jun-2010
To all, read this - http://tinyurl.com/27vb99j sums up whats going on.

  • Re: The Whitehaven police. by Buzz Lightyears left glove (Member 10043850) on 8-Jun-2010
Its not a simple as that. If you think ramming a car with a van would defintely take out the gun totting driver, think again. If they tried and got it wrong even more would've been killed even more in my opinion. Some Policemen are trained in high speed driving and know how to take a car off the road. These lads were just normal rural/town Policemen.

  • Re: The Whitehaven police. by looking4luv (Member 10201340) on 9-Jun-2010
Hey I dont know what planet your from! Somebody is driving a car at fast speed in front of you, going around bends and corners. I cant see a problem with raming the car up the rear as hard as possible, and then reversing and getting away. Police transits have bull bars and are re-enforced with safety equipment.Saving lives is what it is all about, if it happened in Corby and my family were on the ... more >>

Police ramming ..... and then come the lawsuits??? easier and cheaper ways to stop cars if given enough time / warning etc. best to fit all cars with remote stop chips , would stop car thieves too , or is that too much "Big Brother" interfearance?

The government is worried that mens willies are getting smaller.to find out how great the problem is they have asked all men with a willy smaller than three inches to put a white flag with a red cross on their car
  • Re: small willies by Ultra Viola (Member 10069030) on 5-Jun-2010
I take it then that all the big dicks drive cars sporting a blue flag with a white cross ??

Mr Landord.. thank you very much for the bottle of "Brandy" you generously posted to me from Benidorm, for my birthday, I am pleased to tell you it did taste better than the stuff you serve in "The Knowhere Inn" but I have found out that it helps to clear out my blocked drains and remove the oil leak stains from my driveway and... dabbed under the eyes burns away the wrinkles too.

Day time drinks at Rockafellas by looking4luv (Member 10201340) on 21-May-2010
I noticed they are putting up umbrellas outside the club. I asked the owner what was going on, I was told its opening in the afternoon £2.00 drinks and music (unlike Lloyds). Could be worth a visit sitting outside long cool drink watching the world go by, and music playing in the background. Just thought could pop into Greggs for a pie too. Heaven..

Mrs Bagshaw where are you. by looking4luv (Member 10201340) on 21-May-2010
She is starting off on the right foot isnt she !
It doesnt matter who you voted for there comes a time when you want to see your local MP. Phil Hope had an office up in Chisom house and held regular surgeries. Mrs Bagshaw hasnt informed anybody of the where abouts of her new local office. Try it for yourself ring the borough council and ask where the local MP has her office. We are on the slipper... more >>

Louise is currently on 4 weeks 'intensive' training in London, just like Mr Hope did and all other new MP's. She will have an office up the Town Centre.

  • Re: Mrs Bagshaw where are you. by looking4luv (Member 10201340) on 8-Jun-2010
Yeah right.. Phil set up his office before he had any training, plus he was available during his start up period. Is Mrs Bagshaw - I think not!One month into her time as an MP where are you. At least we saw the last tory MP Mr Powell. With all the planned cuts Corby is in line to be hit really hard, without an MP fighting our corner, we might as well shut up shop now.

NCC V ROCK ESTATES by looking4luv (Member 10201340) on 17-May-2010
I didnt mention county councils reason for offering such a high amount of compensation at the very early stages of negotations. It was the veiw of their legal team had it gone to court it would of been very costly, and giving £5,000000 away was better value for the council.
