When I moved into this house the pre payment meter was already in. It suited me to keep it at that time.I usualy get cards at the Texico garage now they stopped selling them so has Nash in the village. The guy in the garage told me nobody sold them anymore. Oh that was it I was on my high horse, what am I gonna do for electric I asked him buy credit he says yeh and how does my meter know i paid yo... more >>

    Co-op on occupation does them, they changed from cards to keys but before you no it you wont be able to get hte cards.

Child knocked over by a taxi on rocky road by the school, time they done something about it, i no the kids not at school just now, but that road it terrible at 3.05 yeh the police go and move the cars on, but next day they all back makes my blood boil.

Nearly 800(full stand ?) people seen the Steelmen return to the top of the Blue Square Table. A late goal stopped Corby making it four in a row.
Weird were top and am not happy should have stayed away lol.

    great start general,and the swelling support is very encouraging,the town must be buzzing with these first batch of results,hopefully a good cup run as well, wouldn't it be great to go to wembley in the trophy or the fa cup lol.i remember corby caledonion going to wembley, what a day that was for the town, think it was in 1996,there was about 8000 people at the game. well it doesn't hurt to dream.... more >>

somebody received a fine of £3000 for claiming £811 housing benefit he was not entitled to,so should it be that for every £811 that MPs paid back they should fined £3000. do these MPs think we will forget, around £50000 for phil, so a fine around £180,000 should about cover it for him. Come on phil let us see you stand up for this constituant

    NO NO NO Jason your missing the point that person purposely defrauded the system .Our poorly educated MP`s who we elect to run a country and deal with billions an billions of pounds of a budget do not understand such complicated things as filling in an expenses claim form and it is not their fault.
    Its all a mistake and why are people so angry with us for such a basic error........

corby town continued their fantastic start to life in the blue square north with a 3-1 at stalybridge, they are now 2 points clear at the top well done the steelmen!!!

    I go away for a week and the Boys win three out of three to top the conference north table. Early doors lets hope the gates keep over the 500 mark for wednesday game Wilson the Clown is back god i hope we can make it four in a row.

    We went in last night £3-80p pint beer and £3-60 for small glass rosea wine.Lovely place but we will not be back,,, night club free till 10,10 -11 £5,after 11 £10 and it's opened till 7, would love to meet the people that can stay there all night at them prices!!!!!!!!

A brilliant innovative man who designed probably the most famous guitar of all time. A true genius who invented multi tracking that influenced all that followed. Died yesterday, Aug 13th. One year after my brother. I wonder if they are jamming together now.

Me and a mate went to weatherspoons today with the kids, had a meal, 2 adults and 6 kids the meal wasnt great but edible so......8 meals 8 drinks, then mate goes to the bar for 2 adult drinks and 6 soft drinks and guess what? SORRY can only serve you soft drinks as you have chidren with you!!!!!! after spending £80+ they tell you NO MORE, yes we understand some people do take kids and get plaste... more >>

    Talk about closing the barn door after the horse has bolted. It is just like the UK they have't got used to families dining out. How the hell can you serve a pint for a pound and expect families to eat . I was in the Corby Witherspoons in March and all it is piss up bar cheap drink and terrible food. Two work mates in seperate cars were followed by police cars from the A14 Kettering to Wellingborough town centre yesterday. Another workmate was stopped by an unmarked police car and given a ticket. Not unusual you might say and you would be right but this was 5.00am.     Funny that. 10.30 yesterday morning I was on Oakley Rd, they where pulling them in at the junction of Oakley Rd/St Marks Rd factory entrance and checking vehicles over. From what I saw it looked like commercial vehicles only.

    Knights Lodge is a lovely little pub, albeit for years it lacked a wee bit of atmosphere (no t.v, no music)...glad to see the new landlord is injecting a bit of life into the place...
