- Countesthorpe College. Has had books and two documentaries made about it, due to it's unusually liberal approach.
- nicking booze from the shops!
- Penny Hill, and being the first one down there on a snowy day - so you get all the good snow to yourself. Also, the railway cutting where the railway used to pass through. Many's an exciting time I've had down there pushing people into the gopping water at the bottom, and then throwing rocks at them.
