- one of The Bachelors had a relative livin in the Banana Flats years ago...again wen I was a kid..
- The Infamous "Mad Bomber" Neil Jones who petrol bombed and set fire to the Police HQ at little Park Street in the town centre 91. He escaped capture on three occasions relating to the offence, twice by absailing out of the old YMCA tower block building in the Quadrant, and also by jumping off a bridge onto the M6 Motorway. He was banned from Coventry while awaiting trial at the request of the Police.(roflmao) The Police tried to murder him years afterwards during the Wood End Riots. He has also been on TV in that documentary about the "veal wars", the personal bodyguard of the boss of Phoenix Aviation with links to MI6 and the CIA. Notoriously extremist in the way he deals with those that crossed him, including the Police haha. Feared by many, And a proper cult hero in the jails, where is he now as he seems to have just dissapeared? Would love to have a drink with that bloke......NOT

- Geof Tompson, world famous hard man and bouncer is from Coventry. He was in a film which recently won a bafta about his life and times in Coventry, he once reputedly K.O. Jean Claude van Dame, he has worked on films with Chuck Norris, has beaten more people than had hot dinners, and is a Coventry legend!

his dress sense and VERY erratic behavior. Martin from Thoria and Ferris from Swamp Donkey are also well known local Psycopaths.

- Terry Fairless is local serleb in his local pub 'The Malt Shove.'. He is the best fiddler in coventry and proberly in the UK. He is very easy to spot with his big ginger beard and his big beer full belly. He is also a very good sport because once he had long blond hair of which he was very proud but he had it chopped off for charraty and is now got some hair.

Pauline Black from The Selecter also a Coventrian- you sometimes see her around in fact. Jonathon Coe (novelist) lived in Earlsdon and went to Warwick Uni. In fact he wrote about Earlsdon in "A Touch of Love"- worth a read.
