  • Browns does nice cake. Just remember that you won't be served if you look likea 'chav'.
  • chats in cathedral lanes
  • gosford st
  • Even though it's full of pensioners, the cafe in Mark's and Spencer's is really good! if you're out by the new arena shopping park, cafe hollywood is amazing' try the carrot cake!
  • Zafiris and the gallery both on the earlsdon high st serve excellent coffee! Browns in town also does and has the added bonus of being cheap. At least for tea and coffee!
  • Millsy's in Earlsdon Street. Expensive but nice place
  • i wish, would love it to be like dam here, full of cafes. bt no chance, most chance ur guna get is a little trailer hangin off the bk of an old stolen ford cortina.
  • TJ's COFFEE SHOP
  • Browns is good but why not really Amsterdam style coffee shops for the Coventrians to relax a little and for us passers by to feel more welcome.
  • wish like amsterdam but nowhere like it
  • Millsy's in earlsdon, Inspire by the litten tree
  • The Tin Angel on Spon Street try it it totally rocks
  • Anywhere. Some are dirty looking tho. . .
  • Druckers, Browns otherwise we just go down the pub.
  • the terrace in west orchards
  • Browns, Earl Street. They do a mean selection of coffees, play really nice chilled music, and is generally a classy joint.
  • the coffee bar in finham is well rad!
  • SUBWAY-mmmmmmmmmmm
  • Dominoes cafe in radford used to do an awesome breakfast to cure a hangover, however there was a brothel upstairs.
  • Browns for good coffees
  • no starbucks im afraid1 its more pubs than cafes but theyre friendly and do cafe type food.
  • Everyone in Cov' are allergic to Tea and Coffee and teacakes and they have been banned from The WestMidlands.
  • BROWNS IS GOOD NEW PLACE IN PRECINT FLAMES IS VERY CLASSY BUT EXPENSIVE
  • I've got kids and so BHS cafe is hard to beat for accessibility. Coventry is geting a little better for this sort of thing.
  • This is Cov after all.
  • Need more Cafes and Coffe shops. Althought can get good and really cheap coffe from Whetherspoons
  • Gringo's is cool for it's cheap bottles and pizza's and a very pissed alternative crowd downing copious amounts of aftershots. You can TRY and get past the bouncers at Browns if you like!
  • Gingers was brilliant but i haven't been there 4 a while so it could of gone down hill after their fire?
  • Inspire - It has a good inexpensive menu which caters for luchtime and evening meals, a nice chilled atmosphere, and friendly staff. An oasis in the heart of Coventry for those laid back types who have over induldged Browns.
  • The little coffee shops round the back of the old Cathedral are funky. There aren't any of the chain ones, I don't think.
  • Nice one near the Post Office in Hertford Street (next to Nat West).
  • Gringos Cafe and Bar the only place :)
  • Browns is the best, if you can get past the bouncers!!
  • lots of posh ones mentioned b4 but none i go 2 but once i was on a virgin train from cov 2 london and they did a paht costa rican coffee from the cafe!!!!!
  • The Cov students union is good for getting rid of that early morning "hangover and smog" feeling.
  • Balhill Diner, DON'T go near Browns, Bus Stop Cafe, Cafe Domino and Mr Pickwick's Tearoom.
  • Alma delicatesson(sp?) on Hales Street. Within the deli is a coffee bar with an impressive range of coffees and teas. Very good cappucino , a friendly atmosphere, and practicaaly the only coffee shop on the north side of the city centre. Bunty's up by the Cathedral, nice and restful, even if it is a bit pricey.
  • You are kidding, I take it? Most people that drink Coffee in Coventry do it in their Factory canteen.......
  • Browns
  • The Bus Stop Cafe in the City Arcade. "Brown's" The Wedge which sadly is no more.
  • Bar Coast in Cathedral Lanes and Oscars in West Orchards only places worth it aprat from supermarket cafes!
