- The Scottish Big Issue seller outside Natwest is definitely in the wrong business. Roll up roll up to hear his amazing selection of jingles and rhymes.
- Crazy preacher blokes being chased by crazier, drunker homeless guys round the fountains near the three Tuns. Best street entertainment ever.
- watch out for the tramps under the subway on the ay to the train station, once on told me to get a haircut!
- There's a dude that stands outside Natwest shouting, "Scooby Dooby Doo - Get your Big Issue!" and another near the new lower arcade shouting, "This week's big issue! Help the homeless please!". That's about as interesting as street entertainment around here is.
- Umm, they all got killed.
- WEVE STILL GOT THE BAD BOY RAPPING SCOTTISH BIG ISSUE SELLER NO LOCATED OUTSIDE NATWEST ON THE HIGH STREET: "SCOOBY SCOOBY DOO COME BUY THE BIG ISSUE"
"BUY IT FROM THE JOCK UNDERNEATH THE CLOCK ..........." THERE ARE SOM MANY MORE GO AND C YOURSELF THIS MAN DESERVES AN AWARD, ALSO THERE IS THIS GD DAMN CRAZY MAN WITH A HARMONCA WHO JUST BLOWS INTO THE THING NOT KNWING WHAT HE IS DOING WITH BIG RED EYES PEOPLE JUST GIVE HIM MONEY FROM FEAR
- Occasionally we get those South American pan pipe guys coming through - always reminds me of summer.
- The big issue seller who shouts "scooby dooby doo"
- An old man who can't play a tune on his harmonica but expects money anyway. And a Big Issue seller who rhymes it with "Scooby Dooby Doo".
- Coventry has it's own cult of nutters. I can only just begin to scratch the surface here:
The Scooby Doo Big Issue guy (mentioned above)
Bananaman (mentioned above)
The old guy in the disabled cart with the frankenstein mask on top of a mop, and placards that say things like 'I've been to the Moon', and 'Catholic Schoolgirl Satan Nazi death'. Sometimes sat in Broadgate, sometimes driving around the ringroad. I can't begin to explain.
The bloke in a road workers orange jacket, who approaches you in Pool Meadow, talks to you for ten minutes about nothing, then asks you for 50p to get to Eastern Green/70p to go to Leamington.
Covkids being covkids.
The utter filth that are Cov birds.
- Its gotta be the guy who sells the Big Issue near the banks.. "skibby dibby doo.. buy the big issue!" you cant beat that :)
- dodgy flea pits and yobs in subways at night
- as b4 "SCOOBY DOOBY DOO BUY THE BIG ISSUE" Usualy on the high street theres the banana man whos a big rasyta who walks around the city center with his top off no matter what the weather with a boig bag of bananas (i think hes mad)
- Well, there's plenty of renowned lunatics to provide the entertainment. Particularly the one person legendary for having a go at one of my friends because she was eating a bag of crisps too noisily.
- The rhyming big issue seller (scooby dooby doo) is a good laugh but is getting harder to find these days. Spotted him outside intershop a few times.
The crap harmonica player from outside sainsburys in town has not been seen since their makeover
- The Scottish Guy who sells the Big Issue outside the Natwest Bank In Broadgate is the only live street entertainment worth listening to.
- walkway past elders, big issue seller on corner of boots
- Listen to the great rhymer selling the Big Issue by the Lady Godive statue. "Scooby Dooby Doo, come and get your Big Issue."
- Buskers in Coventry - Loads of them, some very good, some that appear to be playing one song and singing another one entirely!
- Plenty of them - Big Issue, guitarists, chalk drawings (1995!) and the occasional bagpipe player. Occasionally the crap radio station Kix96 do live shows from the Bandstand/fountain thing.
- Often found around spinadisc, i think Jimmy Kemp plays here
- THERE'S LOADS OF STREET ENTERTAINMENT ALWAYS GOING ON, WHETHER IT BE ORGANISED BY THE COUNCIL OR BY A BUSKER WHO DESPERATELY NEEDS SOME SPARE CHANGE!
- Every saturday some always turn up. The old man with the acordian is good. Cute dog to. The AA man with his stall is also a regular entertainer.
