- In response to the unknown defender of Zero-G - it was a classic case of what to do WRONG when you build an indoor park. It didn't have a decent layout, the ramps left a lot to be desired and they tried to directly compete with Epic when the park was in it's prime. A skatepark should be ran for the love of skateboarding, not to make money, and the likes of Zero-G (and now, unfortunately, Epic... or Creation) seems to have that exact same attitude. Say it with me - A SKATEPARK IS ABOUT PASSION FOR SKATEBOARDING, NOT ABOUT MONEY.
- Daniel Guinan is gay.
- Anywhere that a certain group of twatty tile hill skaters who think their cool skate.
- i was comeing to coventry from rugby and there was a sick concreate skate park it was on the left on the way in and it loked well good it looks realy good but it was also abandond it was neer sum foot bal piches and a big center like a spors centere and some tenisis courts so if u find it it wood be a good sesh
- there is some good skating by the magistrate courts people dont tend to mind you skating there also memorialpark is good
- how dare you you say the indoor skate park zero-g was a bag of crap its was a amazing place shame more people didnt know about it !!!
- Covpark (the memorial park skatepark) is pretty much the main skatepark in Cov. Then you've got the holbrooks bowls, but they're in a dodgy area so only go there in large groups. The guys from Ride often skate there so if they're down there you should be pretty safe from little scallies with golf clubs. The Alan Higgs Centre also has a skatepark, it looks pretty sweet but that area is super dodgy and there are little kids who always turn up to ride about on mountain bikes. There are no indoor parks in Cov anymore (Zero G turned out to be a bag of crap so it got closed down). Hopefully one day we'll get a DECENT indoor park but for now it's all outdoor concrete parks and street. The street in Cov is quite fun at first but most of the spots have been skated to death by the locals and to be honest we all find them kind of boring now. Which is good news if anyone chooses to come skate here because most spots will be DEAD. The police don't mind you skating spots, but the COMMUNITY SUPPORT OFFICERS and even the TRAFFIC POLICE (?) will kick you off and threaten to take your boards... when they actually aren't allowed to do no such thing... Warwick Uni has some pretty good spots but the security are just really rude and up themselves and don't feel like they need to be polite to skateboarders because you're apparently "trespassing" (it's a university campus, not the frickin' White House).
- ricoh arena has some manny pads and ledges to skate or try just up the road by the big tesco there is some skate stopped marble try and find away of skating that there is even an escalater rail (railthat starts small and gets big) outside the boots nextdoor
- memorial park...
- Definitely the memorial park
- University of Warwick, by the Arts Centre, and Costcutter, there are these amazing banks, that we call the Costcutter banks, they're only skateable in holidays though, and then there's this weird amphitheatre thing, not waxed, but similar to Lloyds in Bristol but curved.
- Memorial Park
- go to the godiva statue every1s dere cludin me conor aka blondy nat aka 7dats deres also fish sketch simon antony mouse hole corner fingers danty gogo and loadsa more we sk8ers/goths jus come up 2 us well b ya m8 m8 but iff ure a townie bog off !

- Memorial park
- whats this 14set, where is it, is there 1....i no where that sick 10set its by sum big building with house and there is sum crap banks by the side.
- I would say the lower precint but CV1 guys make it hell now! but there are a number of Multi Story car parks that after closing are a good spot! try the one opposite Moesley wearhouse for a start! then out side the law courts and if your lucky you'll catch a Glimpse of DPG doing his thang
- memorial my mates garden n holbrooks bowls
- thesk8 park within the memorial park grounds is the only one that springs to mind and coventry is running out of the sk8er type and were being overrun by fashion victims.
- As if i came 20 odd miles to visit zero-G. That sh1t is D.I.Y park haha good job u got sum sick concrete bowls. amazing!
- duz ne1 know where the abandoned house on kennilworth road is probs known as ratland house or sumfink like that
- im not from cov but when my team visited we skated sum crazy paving banks in a carpark under a bridge on an island on the main road. suprisingly great. The bowl at foleshill is sweet.
*Spiderweb skateboards.
- memorial park, holbrooks bowls in the mornings when the scallys are or supposed to be at school, town, not zero g!!!!
- Millenium square has a few nice ledges as does priory place with a few gaps. Anywhere is skateable but be careful of the CVONE crew (city security).
- edgwick park
- A good skate spot is the new bowl near ride, you have to go really early in the morning to avoid being swamped with pricks who throw mud at you
- Holbrooks bowls - get there around 9ish weekdays and weekends and leave at the first sign of trouble the locals are beyond territorial and are the epitome of scum. Otherwise, a great day out.
Memorial Park - You generic concrete bendcrete job. Nothing special but plenty of fun.
Wyken Park - Smaller version of the memorial facility. Again, nothing special.
Coventry Street - Law courts, banks, various steps and blocks.
- new bowl 4 foot and 6 foot concrete bowl just opened in foleshill park thanxs to jim and the staff at ride and of course cov council
- There are many skate spots around cov. the law courts, slippy dick rails, various ledges and step sets around town, memorial aprk skate aprk. also bedworth skate park is good fun.atke a weapon tho, they r rough down there!haha
- The Forum on longfellow road is good. it has A 2 set A 4 Set a 5 set a 6 set a 8 set a 14 set and some heavily waxed curbs and is proper smooth.
By the art gallery is great there is loads of flat banks and a ledge that u can ollie off and a 9 set. Zero-g skatepark is good £3 4 2 hours and has a big vert a spine ramp a 6ft halfpipe a street funbox etc.
- obviously at the memorial skatepark!!!!
- there's actually a halfpipe on the way to the university library but it needs some work doing to it. It lused to belong to the Coventry Boys Club. Tons of Rails thanks to the shopping centres but not really a place for vert skaters.
- bedworth has sum kool ramps and flat banks but theres other places to go in the country
- The Memorial Park
- around shelton square is proberly the best place.
avoid the war memorial park
- I used to try and ollie the 10 steps on the entrance to Showcase cinemas, class spot.
- morial park, bedworth park, boys club banks, and most places in the city centre
- The War Memorial Park has a skateboard park.
- Business parks tend to be great at weekends because they are really smooth and completely deserted. Its harder skating on weekdays, mind, because the security guards clock you!!!
- Bedworth skate park is the best sk8park near here. Go to the old carpark up far gosford street, there is a pretty good bank to go down there, get sum speed off that. Lower Precint would be wicked if it wasn't patrolled by 5 security guards at a time (Even at 5 in the morning!!!) Shelton square is good for clearing steps if there is no old people there calling 999!
- We now have a concrete sk8park, it is much appreciated, thx council, we are now banned from town, thx council, it is quite small but seems to have just about some variation of everthing!
- Foe all skater dudes, the skatepark in the Memorial Park is now finished, one small half-pipe, ramps and rails etc. Not huge but better than nothing!
- up and around the university have good stair sets and benches
- Theres loads of crap in Coventry- The park is up but is nothing compared to the street there- In the centre there are some perfect concrete benches by the christmas tree and the church.Just round the corner from there is two cool sets of three and some ledges. Around Coventry uni there are a lot stairs and under a highway next to the boys club there is some cool ass massive banks and a midi ramp over this fence. Just across from the banks are some stairs and ledges in the university and a super knarly ledge down some stairs which one day I shall do.
- there is nooooonnnnneeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
but i don't know what the new shopping place is gonna be like so that may be cool?!
- Good skate spot for y'all. If you've lived in Cov for a while and remember where Intershop used to be, you'll probably know the large flat area opposite it and next to the Methodist Hall. If you don't know where that is, if you're walking to the park from the city centre, there's a pub called the "Litten Tree". Just opposite is the Methodist Hall. There's a series of concrete benches and a long flat sort of slope to get speed up on. There's usually loada stuff like traffic cones left around for you to nick and set up to skate. Pretty good spot there.
- THE MEMORIAL PARK SKATE PARK IS NOW COMPLETE, WITH A HALF-PIPE, COUPLE OF VERT RAMPS, FUN BOXES AND FULL OF LOVELY PPL.
EVEN YOUNG KIDS, I MEAN 4+ YEARS OLD COME ALONG AND ARE WELCOME! TRULY A GREAT PARK.
- Shelton Square - good little 3 set, nice ledges. Eaton House - big 4 set, a wall with a metal guard (exelent for grinding) and a small 2 set. Central Six - big ass waxed curb, some maual boxes, and alright ground. Where Intershop Used To Be (now the litern tree) - nice benches, good ground, and links onto shelton square. And lots of other hiddern spots all around the city centre. The skatepark is now finshed, a little dusty, but very good, nice funboxes, exelent mini ramp, But top all the little gromits - piss off!!!! 21-4-2001 almost done go there at night, estemated completion date may 2001. the only propblem is, its all concrete. so watch out for harsh slams. and i suggest the are no bladers, no little kids just lerning to skate, bmxers are ok. BOARDERS come and skate the basterd thing!!!!!
- NORMALLY OUTSIDE THE LITTEN TREE PUB THATS JUST OPENED
- beside the AUDI garage on flechamstead highway opposite blockbusters
- ok go magic circle in town next to hmv marle ledges, steps etc
redbrick ramps near civic center, undercover flat banks
warwick unis good (only if u r quick > over zealous security guards)but well worth the beating if u get caught
- kong
- Well if they ever get that skatepark in the memorial park finished then that would be the place, otherwise.. it would have to be the old car park down far gosford street.
- a five min skate from town- technology building blocks- bad runout but butterz blocks
in middle of town- pidgeon square been there for ever- main features: above knee blocks set of three long steps.
elephant bars--cut your teeth on these free standing flat bars, not always available due to lesuire centre opening times
- any supermarket carpark the new tescos is particaulary smooth!!MMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmsmooth!
- The city centre. Sundays.
- The City Centre Precinct becomes open to boards at 6 p.m.
- Car Parks - Barracks roof - thats all.
- Best areas are around shopping precincts: lots of tasty banks and benches. Car-park next to Boys Club has banks on either side: one is 30' and 30¡. More banks heading from University (ex-Poly) towards town, opposite town hall. Benches etc. Most skaters around here on Sundays. Pub called "Dog and Trumpet" has several back-less benches concreted into ground. Try Holyhead Road supermarket complex, large carpark with curbs. In town: Town Hall got a few steps layered one above the other. Often porter comes out.
- Nowhere really. The parks are no good for it, neithers the town centre. Couple of super market car parks but thats all.
