The stock car track round the pitch at Central Park football stadium hosts a Thursday market that's very popular and full of the usual knock off tracky bottoms and trainers. Stuff any Cowdonian or former Eastern Block resident would be proud to wear. Tons of tat, sweeties and hardwares too.
- Just the usual international conspiracy of samey same same sportswear shops... the apparel that marks us out forever as 'working class' or 'plebians'... you know all the usual labels... well there's at least one shop like that... Broad St. end of high st... don't remember what it's called, but i think it has a very tasteful yellow fascia... there's also an even more tasteful shop that sells ex catalogue clothes and that's why most of Cowdenbeath's men look like asylum seekers from some former Eastern European country where it really hit the fan.
- Well let's see, we have Oxfam, British Heart Foundation, Barnardos,Sharps and some tacky teenagers shop which has been painted BRIGHT PINK!! You choose!!
- None worth talking about, however very good shoe shop, called Uptown Girl.
- Where else, but sharpes!!! apparently the owner of harrods owns this place and is going to open a little branch inside, where the dirty old grannies of cowden can buy there cut price bog rolls!!!
- manorgrove - opposite The Bruce Hotel
- Sharpes is the place to go, untill you've been spotted by your mates then you hide!
Want a real bargin for a tarty night oot in Partners visit the Catolgue Bargin shop wow!!!!!
