Cinemas
- My partner and I loved the ambiance of the cinema. We found the sticky floor somewhat of a novelty. We have since desined our home and flooring in a duplicate manner. It's amazing how you can now leave things dotted around the floor with it never moving.... It's fun at Christmas with skittle completions. We no longer need to hover ,, it would be pointless really as the hover is stuck over near the dead dog. Our decor is also in a state of complete virginity... The amount of lights running up the walls means we invested the key meter option as we're illegally running up a debt. Woop woop free Lecce, I feel like a Glaswegian. We can't wait till we purchase our xr3i. So we can doughnut it around our newly acquired tarmaced back garden. We highly recommend this cinema.
- megaplex near the roundabout
- Virgin Megaplex..agin full of Stoned and drugged up Chavs and pikey Kids
- Cineworld
- the cinema is a total rip off! it costs over 7 quid to see a film...and a bottle of water will set you back about 2 quid
- Cineworld in the leasure park is clean and the staff are mostly friendly, but prices of drinks/popcorn is way over the top...
- UGC - it's best in the area for choice and screen size but the capitol has a certain something extra
- theres a good cinema at the megaplex just past town its eather in west green or northgate
- Megaplex- yes it's a comercialist and a tad on the souless side but it beats the competiton ..'The capitol'..
- our cinema is good dnt get me wrong but its just too expensive we get there then drink our alcohol and dos outside...no harm done
- Megaplex...the capitol in horsham is more artsy
- the one in the mega that keeps changing its name
- CINEWORLD: Good cinema, but London price tickets! Get the Unlimited card for a much better deal!
- UGC Cinemas is the only cinema in Crawley really but it's quite near the centre and so is easily accessible to most people in Crawley.
- Cinema doesnt cost alot but its not worth it!
- Please!!! Just the UCI. Every town is the same don't you lot get it?
- The UGC is great fun, the amount of girls ive got on in there (good memories)
- bowling alley
- Worked at the cinema too. Don't eat the hotdogs!!!
- ugc
- UGC!!!!!! really good cinema, comfy seats and yummy popcorn. Dont sit on the back row in screen 9, my mates boyfriend peed across all the seats when the screen had only 3 people in it. He and my mate also had sex on the right hand side at the back if ur watching the screen!!!!
- Crawley proberbly has the best cinema in West Sussex. 15 air-cinditioned screens, and on Sundays its sometimes possible to sneak in. Theres also a McDonalds and Pizza Hut outside as well as a Hollywood bowl and arcade, but these are full of pikey/townie scum.
- megplax
- In all fairness the UGC is ok, the staff are a bunch of muppets who couldn't get a job at McDonalds and think it's ok to go for a smoke and maybe jack up when there's 150 customers queued up to the local firestation waiting to buy tickets. Would suggest snow shoes when buying any food or drink because cleaning has been outlawed in the UGC and if you wanna walk on a clean floor you'll have to either piss on it or lick it clean, appears people have already tried though. One time I remember with fond memories some Asians came in the cinema, threw all of their food at people and then spat on people as they left - ahh they were the days. Good to know the staff knows whats going on.
- UGC is ok, loads of choice just so expensive. save some money and sneak some of ur own food in.
- UGC cinmea dwn da mega is a gd place 4 rude peeps 2 hang round. its wel easy 2 sneak in aswel cuz we all av different scams which work easy do ders no need 2 pay mosta da time.
- Virgin Megaplex - food really expensive! but bar gd. Get a student NUS card - tickets a lot cheaper.
- i used to work at UGC so if i told you what happens behind the scenes you would not want to visit. Lets just say do not eat the cheese nachos.
- mega really gud
- UGC the other one is now bar mead
- UGC cinema
- ucg
- ugc cinema even know full of teenage drunks and druggys all good!!!!!!!.
- the megaplex
- UGC, big building, used to be a Virgin. Quite pricey, floor is always sticky. There is a sewage pipe that leaks into the water system that distributes fizzy drinks on the right-hand machine. Some-people know exactly what I'm talking about!
- Crawley Leisure park, where most of bewbush rudeboy wannabes hang out also.
- The UGC cinema is the best we've seen in crawley for a long time. £10 a month for unlimited films, means you only have to go twice a month to make your money back. Built as a leisure park the cinema is next to a large bowling alley, bella pasta, pizza hut, mcdonalds, tgi fridays and brannigans. Also has a cash point so there's no need to walk into town!!
- Ok, when you don't have some dick head chucking popcorn at you. Also, it's a place where the local boy racers like to take their "Julies" and impress them in their piece of shit Xr2's/Xr3i's or god help us all - Nova SR's. You should have seen them after the "Fast and the Furious" - very entertaining.
- Its bloody decent actually - well that is until all the Crawley prats fill it up!!!
- UCG Cinema 6 quid to get in and 15 screens.
Comfy, and room to get past without getting people up.
- UGC cinemas extremely comfortable and nice to watch films. much better than the ABC cinemas before!
- UGC Cinema. Comfortable quality seating, huge amount of facilities, good film showings, big screens, no head between your legs syndrome and there's somewhere to get smashed before you go in (if that's your kind of thing!). Part of a leisure complex so there's also a Hollywood Bowl, Arcades, Pizza Hut, Bella Pasta and Brannigans. I would not recommend TGI Friday, good service, poor (cold) food.
- The best cinema ive been to with 15 screens and 2 premiere screens so you can hire out a whole cinema out for you and your friends.
- the cinerma that crawley has is overpriced and not all that comfortable you feel like going for a fag half way though the movie.
- Megaplex with 15 screens not too bad, pretty good quality for money and you've got the bowling alley next to it. Arcade and bar as well.
- There is the local Multiplex, 12 screens? £6 for tickets...
also there is 2 bowling alleys (one will be closed soon) hollywood is the expensive and good one, and there is the AMF alley. they are not that far from each other...
- The old cinema had clsoed and become bar med. The new one is really nice, £6 per movie and lesss for students.
- Big 15 screener - Screen 4 is the second largest screen in Britain. UGC are crap though and it's run by kids. They're pretty ineffectual in stamping out mobile phone terrorism and chatterboxes. That's if they play the movie with sound and vision in the first place.
- What can I say...Its the BEST cinema I've ever been to, Its got the 15 screens, two are premier screens with big comfy chairs and a bar. Its got the movie store (a necessatity to us film buffs) and the bar, coffe bar,and loads of sweetys and other grub for munching our way through the movies. Its also got those GROOVY neon lights, and that Party room!!!
The Bowling alleys more that a bowling alley too, with the original bar and amusment arcade and aslo the food bar you don't even have to bowl!
- UGC CINEMA CRAWLEY LEISURE PARK LONDON ROAD
- UCG is cool as the seats are comfy
- The multiplex cinema in Crawley is very disappointing. The seats are fine, the sound is fine - but they seem to show old, murky prints. If you want to be able actually to see the film properly, this is not a good venue. The bad print quality means that the picture is often dark, the colour balance is sometimes wrong - and the shadow areas are very murky and devoid of detail.
I suspect the prints they show have come from the US and are badly worn, but cheap.
- UGC Cineplex (Formally Virgin) - Used to do 4 week Mega pass for £15 but now replaced by Yearly subscription for £10 a month - Bargain!
- The quaint new old Cinema is now a Bar Med. The quaint old old cinema is now a car showroom. All there is now is Branson's empire.
- Wonderful cinema and bowling alley
- Virgin Multiplex. Never visited it.
- It's worth buying a four or eight week Megapass for the UGC Cinema if you like to go a lot - I saved over £100 on films in the 8 week period during which I had mine!
- The cinema rocks. The megapass is the best thing since oxygen. The liesure park as a whole is funky
- Virgin - only £6 per head. Better value as a family - £15 for 2 adults, 2 kids
- Two cinema's in Crawley - one is a three screener which changes hands more times per minute than a relay baton. It's not the best cinema in the world but they do pride themselves that it's £3 at any film at any time which can't be bad. The other is Virgin Megaplex which is a massive cinema and although is £7 per film is certainly worth the extra for the difference in quality of seating, sound and screen.
- Mmmmm...15-screen multiplex eases the pain of living in this dump
- a rather old cinema in the high street is giving way to a virgin multiplex 15 screen opening spring of 99
- 10 Pin Bowling situated next to a bit of a naf cafe, but great if you like plenty of grease in your burger. Cinema 5/10 for comfort, better off travelling to Brighton at moment, although, big new multiplex being built as I am typing this message, should open end Summer '98 along with loads of other new hangouts.
- Virgin multiscreen being built on the old football ground by the fire station. Also new bowling alley to replace the other one.
