• I think Rat And Parrot sucks !!! The manager is a jerk, he was rude and agrssive. I have never been so insulted in all my life, not only was he drunk again and unable to string a sentance together but there was some fat bird at his side shouting and making comments.... i thought they are meant to prevent a breach of the peace not cause one... • Just thought I would let you know about a new bar opening in crawley, its called The All In Club and has a drinks license till 5am!!!! Half of the building is already open and is a class Poker Club, Just what Crawley needs!!! A Card room where you can drink till all hours, I must say the tunes are good too. The two guy's that run the place over there are worth a look from the ladies too!!!! Check it out it's on Manor Royal Estate, at 71 Gatwick Road....

• If your out for a good then dont go to BRANNIGANS talk about waste of space, Rob & Barry the 2 so called managers share 1 brain and kiss each others asses whenever possible think they should demote them both to bottle collectors even then that may prove to be hard for them. • I just wanted say that The Nights that DJ Chino worked at Brannigans was Boring he took a 100 people a night to 5 people a night. He is the worst DJ I've ever heared, he was stuck in a time warp and his music was crap. He looked like that Bloke from Fraggle rock. He is so good at his Job that people would rather stay at home than hear him play..... And the guy who posted this was his sad attempt at being a sound guy...lol They talk about how crap everyone is, at least we are not past our sell by date....
• quick note about Brannigans - what a dump. the management haven't got a clue what they are doing and have turned down the opportunity of earning extra money on a wednesday night. a mate of mine wantde to DJ down there and tried it for 2 weeks, in this time Brannigans didn't advertise like they promised, didn't do any promotional work like they promised and even forgot to turn the heating and outside lighting on - work that one out!!! i don't think ive ever know such useless management - couldn't organise a p*** up in a brewery so to speak.
• As a manager of Brannigans I would like to invite anyone who thinks that the club is a dumb. we are under new managment and are the best entertainment venue in town. We always have something different going on everynight. We don't let in scum and trouble makers and when people do we ask them to leave. We will we be very hospitable to any one who wants a good night out and we belive in good customer service and value for money, we want every customer to leave wanting to return. • Just started at Gatwick and went into Crawley on tueswith my mates as everyone said it was cool. Well Brannigans was closed so dunno!! Ikon had about 5 people and then we went to Bar Med. Not a bad looking bar apart from the pole with people who fancy themselves as pole dancers!! Go to say the bar staff and bouncers were really friendly and one of my gay mates liked one of the barman ha ha!! The music was wicked. DJ Ben (thats all he would tell us!!) played some wicked hip hop and did it proper, was really funny as well (apart from not letting our male friends on the pole!!) another DJ played some house which was good if you like that music!! Seriously recommneded for a top night out in the week.. Gatwick Posse!!
• BRANNIGANS: Local dive and hell hole of Crawley. if you want to be bottled in the face, be attacked by gap-toothed, bucket-wide, filthy slappers, get thrown out for being gay; then Brannigans is your place to go! Can't get served under 10 minutes as they believe one bar person per bar, serving 500 odd people is going to work! "People Make the Party" ?????? More like "People Make the Punch up"

• There is sweet F.A. in Crawley if you have any class, taste or an ounce of culture. Try leaving town once in a while. Could broaden your horizons a bit. Crawley is a bit of an armpit.
• Mingles on a Sunday night at Three Bridges Football Club (DSS). This is generally followed by Monday Club if you can't be arsed going into work on a Monday. There is also Tuesday Club & Wednesday Club some weeks, if you're interested nip into The Snotty Fox and see if it's on; most patrons bring sandwiches or a small packed lunch.
• Bar Med aint too bad, Bouncer in there called Rob, he fancies himself and sleeps with various dirty scrubbers he picks up at the end of the nite. He was seeing me for a while until I wised up that he had a girlfriend, I dont think she knows what he gets up to thou

• Ikon's wicked. It used to be expensive but now it's free entry and £1.50 drinks on Saturday. You have to get there early but it's all drinks, Smirnoff Ice, the lot, so we just buy as much as possible before the offer stops, JOB DONE! Tunes are wicked on a Saturday, and Fit birds 'a plenty. We love it!!

• Now Oasis has gone, i think the only club in Crawley is Ikon and Diva. This is 2 clubs in one Ikon is for under 25's and Diva for overs.

• Ikon is designed mainly for people who can't get served fags and drink cider out of a coke bottle. Diva is over 25 on a Friday and Saturday so there tends to be people between the ages of 50 and 100. At the moment they have a £15 entrance fee on a Thursday and then all drinks are free once inside, over 19 to get in but make sure you take some sweets for the kids and ideally a nappy or two for the cider drinkers. Also it pays to have some body armour and ideally a Glock 9mm as your unlikely to meet anyone that can beat that - the best they can do is a 4 inch knife from the army surplus with their mums name on it. Usual rules apply, don't look anyone in the eye and avoid pointing out that everyone looks under 15 cause we, the management, the police and everyone else already knows and for some reason it just winds up the kids when they are dancing with a bottle of VK2 in their hand, go figure! Brannigans is great if you wanna find out what it's like to be outnumbered by numerous 'fat' bouncers and then beaten to a pulp. Once you pass the doors of brannigans the usual laws don't apply, forget escape from LA, escape from bloody Brannigans is more like it. If your looking to catch VD or Aids then I would suggest making a night of it and make sure you buy the single 13 yr old mums plenty of drink to get them in the mood, a couple of Shandy's should do the job. Bar Med is full of white people who for some reason talk like they are from Jamaica, maybe they are all studying hard to speak Jamaican, Bob Marley fans maybe? Bar Med has plenty to offer in the form of vomit filled walkways, 30 minute hikes to the toilets and staff who have done extended prison sentences and pride themselves on customer service, obviously. If you wanna dance and drink safely pop down the local off license (avoiding Langley Green shops - reverse racism, Broadfield, Bewbush and Hyde Drive), grab some beers, go home, chuck on some Gareth Gates and have a bop in your front room - put bars on your windows and keep a shotgun by the door.

• The only night-time Alternative Music is DJ PEET. He performs a metal/goth/industrial night at The Swan pub every thursday fortnight. Rumour has it it's going to get bigger and have more venues. But as yet few pubs will upset the THUGS and TARTS who provide most of the income, so only THE SWAN has such a night. If you like monotonous Dance Music Composed entirely on a computer in under 20mins, then IKON and DIVA are your best bet. But leave early, as there is ALWAYS a fight, a fact that can't be denied by anyone, the POLICE and AMBULANCE arrive at 1pm every night. They sit and wait for trouble, because it is inevitable. Crawley thugs have a real attitude problem.

Its called ikon diva.Its your usual small minded type club. the girls here dance round their hand bangs,You also see the same bunch of girls hanging round the doormen.The door men here seem to cuase more trouble ,then they stop,The same people go to ikon every week,Cool people who live in crawley,usualy go out in london.and would not be seen dead in ikon diva.

• Regarding IKON DIVA, OK so its basic, bur its cheap- ideal for when your skint. Yes it is full of slappers, both young and old, but THATS THE WHOLE POINT! what better fun is there than cheap booze, and the opportunity to watch all of the sad plebs in Crawley get hammered. Look out for Friday nite regulars- Hairdresser girl- long bleach blonde hair, 80's perm, the old crooner- full 3 piece suit, thinks he's John Travolta. Check it out, you'll laugh yourself stupid
• Not a lot of choice, you are better getting the train to Brighton (leaves at 11pm or 4am, you make the choice on whether to stay on brighton beach once the pubs and clubs have closed!!--likewise get a nice friend who is prepared not to drink for the evening and get them to drive, it's only 26 miles!) or London. Ikon/Diva is okay, but the drinks are expensive (Buy one get one free b4 11pm) Brannigans plays a range of music for everyones taste, although quite cramped and theres Bar Med. small dance floor.
• Ohhh, IKON / DIVA - very classy - types of people who frequent this venue are old slappers, young slappers, druggies, alchies, losers, no-hopers, criminals and loud mouth prats.
• Oasis is not there anymore and it was crap anyway, unless you wanted a fight ...... Ikon/Diva - were OK but not that well attended anymore due to Brannigans. Brannigans is good, but full of kids (no not everyone that goes out is under 25).
• Please please include this i beg you! Bar Med on a Friday and Saturday night is OK - as long as you're pissed. The staff are good and friendly. There's one barman called Lee who my friend Christine fancies. Although now she fancies one called Ed.
• Oasis closed because it was claimed that Crawley could only have two clubs and due to oasis trading without getting a new licence they were shut-down. Then along came Bar Med. Wonder how much and to whom was paid for that decision! Brannies and bar med, great nights out but a bit too crowded.
• Bar Med is a good place to go at the weekend. It's very easy to pull in there and the staff are friendly. There is one barman in particular called Lee who is a bit of a fox. My friend Christine fancies the pants off him.

• Ikon and Diva, relatively good clubs on the right night. Normal expensive drinking prices but overall good club. A variety of Garage, House, Dance, Hip Hop and Urban is always available throughout the week. Ikon is 18 and over, Saturday night 21 and over and Diva is 25 and over (ages that is). It's about a fiver to get in before 10:30pm. The Base nightclub in East Grinstead is a short taxi ride away. Nighclub type Bars include Brannigans and Bar Med, both play music and have a dance floor (good if your on the pull).
• Ikon & Diva with their garage music and 80's rubbish. Crawley is in serious need of a decent club with some good music, when is there going to be a club to cater to the punk scene. Brannigans is ok for a bit of a laff if you don't mind bad music.

• Dunno what happened to the Conservative Club, which used to be in the Boulevard and was full of weasel-like little people playing poker machines. However, you could usually drink without being molested and the beer was very cheap
• Ikon & Diva are the main nightclubs (right beside Crawley Station) but there is also Brannigans, which has pretty good music, shame about the sad old men!

• Branigans has now over-taken Ikon-Diva for night entertainment - mainly because there are better specials on - student nights, airport nights and band nights. It's also generally cheaper to get in but it is jam packed full of anyone over 12! At least Diva is a little bit (and I stress little) stricter on who they let in.
