• Interesting aside: at the start of the nineties, Granada TV ran a terrible football game show, with teams from the North-West represented by a local celebrity. But Crewe had none, so Radio 1 DJ Bruno Brookes was roped in for no apparent reason, and proceeded to bring shame upon the town with his stunning lack of footballing knowledge.
