Live Music Venues
- Update - July 2011: The 'M' Club and the Limelight have both closed down. The Box (on Nantwich Road) seems to be thriving, however. Exit Calm and The Joy Formidable have played there in recent years. I've only been there a couple of times myself, but it's a nice size and is close to lots of pubs nearby.
There used to be a great comedy night at the 'M' Club once a month - this has now moved to Nantwich Civic Hall. Comedians such as Reginald D Hunter have appeared in the past.
- The limelight club.

We have a student friendly club night for MMU students, on Thursdays till late, and a "classic" tribute night with all your old favorites' tributes and 2 massive gigs a week.
- the box website containing all of there up and coming gigs is: www.theboxcrewe.co.uk
- The Box on Pedley street in Crewe. has loads of original crewe bands on every weekend
- The Limelight, butI wish they had more original bands and less "tributes"
- The Limelight
- Limelights pretty good
- Limelight, but go to the sugarmill for decent bands or take a trip to manchester or birmingham.
- limelight good night out
- the Limelite. Ray and Karen hit the jackpot in Crewe there. When the Cat in nantwich closed it needed a rock pub / club. Limeys was ideal. It opened a tad before the cat closed and ran buses to nantwich at 11pm but now with its late licence, expansion, and addition of Tony, or curlylocks as he was known at infants, its turned into the best place in the area for beer, music n general social stuff. Its a metal / mainstream gig place with Queen tributes thru to Deep Purple and such like.
- The Limelight...sadly they're only interested in Rock music.
- ah. the limelight. everybody that likes music should go there.
- limelight (again)
- Again just the Limelight. Brilliant place to go for a night out!
- The Limelight is the place to go. It is also the home of Ribbed, Crewe's only regular Comedy Club!
- Ah, the Limelight club, Crewe's one musical plus point...
- The new website address for the Limelight is www.crewe-limelight.co.uk. We don't just have tribute bands, many original artists play at the Limelight and enjoy coming back on a regular basis. About the only musical taste we don't cater for is dance/trance, but, many other musical tastes are catered for. Check out the website you may be surprised!
- The Limelight- Great place! see http://www.thelimelightclub.co.uk to see whats on.
- THE LIMELIGHT CLUB hightown live bands 7 nights a week
- The Limelight Club stands out in Crewe like Robert de Niro would in Hollyoaks.
And it keeps getting better. Excellent bands, top-class beers, a very friendly atmosphere, and the jukebox
has 'I could be so good for you' by Dennis Waterman on it. Which is worth a visit on its own.
