Skateboarding Spots
  • under the new tesco is smooth for rainy days but the sucurity suck. oppisite wickes there is drops, banks & gaps. (ghetto spot)
  • people used to skate on the retail park, but there is only like 1 curb there. also there is the steps by asda (by the big train wheel thing).
  • Library: a nice four set with a sketchy run up, around the other side theres a nice 5 leading into the underground which is a god send in the shit weather
  • asda steps are good: 5 set and a long 8 set, The victoria sets: 3 and 2 sets bit of funy but watch out on the landings, Library got a nice 4 set with a sketchy run up and some sloped walls, The other side of the library is a nice 6 set leading into the underground car park which is a god send when the weathers crap, Retail park: some waxed kurbs and some islands, Buisness park: A wide range of gaps to be found, The train station: a nice big car park oppiste it with a nice roof gap and a sketchy 3 set, The "venny" most of which has been knocked down now but the hungerford road school is still good for a skate with a 3 set and some nice metal bencies, Crewe skate park: possibly the worst park you'll ever find. I think thats about it for sunny crewe
  • Asdas, Retail Park, behind the Golf Shop, the Flatbanks opposite the Golf Shop, the Flat Bank at the back of Natwest (15 minute skate max though!), Red Banks behind the Library (4 set and walls to wallride), 6 set under the Library, Market Gap near the obvious, Market starir (4) at the back of the Women's toilets, Gresty rails on Gresty road, Business Park (Loads of gaps! Good luck finding them all!),South Cheshire college and some gaps in the MMU.
  • The ASDA's, the King George Skatepark, behind the Golf Shop, St. Maries school, the bus station, the underground car park (under library), the retail park, the college is ok now and again, probably more but i cant think of them:P
  • My mates use the ASDA steps
  • Hey you may want to check out chester barrie, near the train station, it has a concrete bank and usually there is some wood there, check it out man! Oh yeah near the business park is the industrial estate which is mint for skating but mind you it is only for the more advanced, but there is a few pussy gaps for you minors. P.S. Don't go near the crewe skatepark, it is full of scallies and it's crap to skate anyway. Check out flipped skate the skateshop on nantwich road, it is a great shop and the guy who owns it is very friendly. P.S. Keep on skating!
  • Centre of town is a favourite spot, and skaters are kindly tolerated. The Victoria Centre (shopping area) is popular especially on quiet Sundays. It has steps, ramps, benches etc., and places to shelter in the rain. Many skaters are trying the Crewe Gates Business Park, especially at night and weekends. The only other users are dog walkers, and the security guards there are mainly family men who like to see chaps enjoying themselves!
  • South Cheshire college, round the back, goto the Sommerville building and go in between Sommerville and the main building!
  • Nantwich Skate Park. Asda steps.
  • Nantwich Skate Park (Metal, typical Council job but fun anyway) has a 6ft 1/4 drop in, 4ft 1/4 drop in, 6ft S-ramp, 2 funboxes with transitions and grind boxes, two grind rails and a 4ft 90deg double quarter. Victoria Center, Crewe has steps and benches to grind (Locally called "Asda Steps") Car Park at The Georges Playing Fields has regular group of skateboarders doing tricks.
  • For some reason everyone seems to be at the retail park, theres manuel blocks and waxed curbs. There a set of 6 and an 8 set by asda which are super smooth but shit if its busy. There a 6 set leading into the underground car park with a dodgy handrail at each side.
  • Try skateboarding on the railway station - with any luck you might go under the front of a passing Intecirty!
