The Worst Things in Crewe, Cheshire*
The entirely missable and worth mentioning because of it
You can tell us more about Crewe.
The Worst Things
- nothing for the young to do anymore none of the old disco/youth clubs
- Litter, dog mess, a council that would rather spend money on pretty hanging baskets than maintain flower beds and shrubberies that are already there.
- Scallies
- The attitude of the afore mentioned testosterone heads. If i wanted to fight people evey time i went out i'd wear mitts n shorts n take my copy of the queensbury rules!
- how many mobile phone shops and opticians does one town centre need??????
nothing to do when the weather is awful-especially if you have young children
- the busses that just drive past lookin at ya while ya stand n wait
- The people! Obese and grouchy!
- the people. they seem to hate other people. when you get on with a person from crewe, you can usually guarantee that their parents were educated or were from out of town. you really can spot the locals!
- Its Crewe - its dull, boring and theres not alot for (normal) teens to do. Alot for the local scallies to do though (break windows, necks etc)
- too many crap pubs. too many idiots in the crap pubs.
the lack of ways around the railway lines which divide the town up, pain in the arse.
the fact that i cant think of anything good to do in crewe that doesnt involve drinking or going to a pub.
- Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Scallies,Fat women.
- the whyole place is about 10 years behind the rest of Britain, they wear SPLIFFY JEANS and have only just heard of OASIS
- Close location to the clay heads in stoke! Just Joking. lol
- Too few pubs,
- Town rhymes with poo, and was described in a recent TV Drama as 'the bumhole of the North'. Charming. Last one out switch the light off.
- the girls!!!!!!!!!!
- F**king Scalleys everywhere. Crewe would be a great town without all the scalls.
- Greyyyyyyyy
- Probably the night life, its not bad if u just want a night out but for somthing special its a bit boring! its the same all the time!
- Tight people from Nantwich gatecrashing the shops and looking down their noses at you as they do it. They hate CREWE and Nantwich borough council.
Driving around the town is dictated by the railways and the bridges and can sometimes seem odd.
Stoke is only just over the border.
- The people! Most Crewe people are way too insular. Been here 14 years now and have 3 real friends in the whole town. I make friends very easily, so it ain't me (Lots of others who come in from outside feel the same way even after 30 years here)
Victoria School - located right next to the town center. Brilliant idea - NOT.
- The locals can be fairly insular, although there's probably various sociological explanations for this
(predominantly working-class industrial town in middle of prosperous rural county etc). The nightlife is poor and the
public transport terrible. The local newspaper, The Chronicle, reads like a parody of provincial journalism ("EXCLUSIVE: CREWE IS
GREAT SAYS COUNCIL LEADER, AGAIN").
- Arriving
- Close proximity to Clayheads.
- The bus station, and the people, they're both gloomy.
- Trainspotters again.
