The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call
You can tell us more about Crosby.
Pubs
- marina, all the pubs on South Road, brooke, the one near the Five Lamps Cenotaph, Claremont, the one that is near the bus stop at Thornton, and then I will be happy
- THE MANHATTEN BAR AINTREE NEXT TO THE OLD PARADOX NIGHT IS HAVING A OLD SKOOL PARADOX NIGHT FREE CAR PARK FREE ADDMISSION IT STARTS 8 TIL LATE WITH DJ PAUL R
- The Crosby now has additional television screens making it the most popular place in Crosby to watch any of the televised sporting events including football, rugby, cricket, horse racing, etc.
- THE BIRKEY!! ENOUGH SAID
- Barbacoa is the in place for the 25+ age group. No smelly old bores and no tracksuitted idiots that you find in the other so called cafe bars! No trouble, unlike the Village centre pubs and the best Live Music in Crosby & Waterloo. Prices are same as everywhere else and the live music is free!! Toilets are immaculate and decor is stunning. Makes the other bars look a little depressing. Thank god JJ is no longer on the door and entrance is up to 11.00pm with 12 am bar!!!
- The Village , Crosby has a fresh new look following new management in Novemeber 2002. The pub has a great atmosphere offering a going out feel Friday and Saturday nights to get you in the mood for the Late Lounge, the Club underneath. Also look out for the Village Live Music.
- there is a pub that I remember when you're a kid hanging around the marina gardens with your mates (as you do) looking and thinking "I wonder what it's like in there" not even been allowed in to go the loo. And as you get older you go in at long last, you look around and think to yourself it was worth the wait. The locals make you feel so welcome and the staff and really nice. To top it all they do a wicked sunday lunch too.
- raven and the alex an others surrounding
- Birkey (Manor Road), The George, Stamps, The Exchange, Blues Bar, Cad's, harry's Bar (all Moor Lane),The Crosby (Liverpool Road)
- The George?
- The Brooke, Brooke Road
The Liver, South Road
The George, Moor Lane
The Birkey, Cooks Road
The Crows nest, Victoria Road
- The Volenteer on Waterloo is a good historical local pub. Don't go there for a large night out but its got character.
The Crows Nest is another unspoilt local. The clientel is a bit w**ky and middle class but you can't have everything.
- La Barbacoa (aka The Barber) on Oxford Road, good beer (they sell draft Stella) and they are licensed until 12 Thurs, Fri & Sat.
- I went into the George last week. That means it is now open. and has been for some time. Still fresh-faced crowd though.
- The Raven. South road. £1 per pint.
The Ferndale. Crosby Road. cocktails £1.20.
The Alexander. South road. doubles bar.
- With pubs like The Endbutt, Stamps, The George, The Exchange, The Birky and The Crosby, there is a potentially great piss-up
- La Barbacoa you can eat drink and be merry til 1am (But get there b4 10pm 'cause JJ on the door is a narky old git)
The Volunteer a small back street pub
