- Viva Viva, Hornsey High Street, wide and varied music tastes, food not great but drinks taste the same as every where else.
- Mono - truly fab
- Queens has live music but if Im honest its all a bit strange.. though I suppose that suits Crouch End!
- Free Jazz from LIMITED EDITION at Word for Word's Performance Evenings at Haringay Library
- jazz at the hill muswell hill tuesday nights is sublime...
- Bar Rocca for the latin vibe, Mono and that other weird one on Park Road for the pretentious types, VivaViva for world music and good food.
- Check out Viva Viva in High St Hornsey, just around the corner from the mini roundabout at the far end of Middle Lane. Great live music, jazz, flamenco, Viva Divas on (women musicians night), etc. etc. good vibe, bar and food. Web site is www.Viva-Viva.co.uk

- Avoid Bar Rocca on a friday night unless your black and have "rythym". it's like a sean paul video
- Theres a late bar called Bar Rocco that is the nearlest thing to a towny night club i've seen in london.

- The Downstairs at the King's Head comedy club is hosted by Huw Thomas, the only man I've ever seen play three recorders at once (you really don't want to check too closely about the third, though...)
