- The Black Bird Inn, hosted by Rob and Vera. Lovely food, friendly atmosphere.
- The Blackbird Inn offers a warm and friendly welcome to any passer by. The food served here is in fierce competition with the ritz and has to be tried to be believed. The landlady is looked upon by locals as a pillar of croughton community and is a truly unique woman.
- About the only thing of note in Croughton is the local pub -- the Blackbird. Outstanding food and a relaxed atmosphere. Try the lasagna or the fish and chips (don't let Rosie get near your plate!!)
