- Theres the chinese down Eridge Road just after the cross called Jades Palace and its great, theres also various other chinese restaurants mainly situated in Jarvis Brook and St Johns. Also theres lots of Indians, the best being The Rajpoot on London Road.
- Choice of kebabs. If you're after a generous helping go to Sancho's. If you want to enjoy the taste go to Jim's.
- go to the crow and gate pub the food is gud and a nice atmosphere
- Excellent Indian from the Rajpoot to eat in or take away (straight over the Cross from the town centre, on the right). Good Chineese a bit further up (can't remember the name - Tsang's House?). The Friendly Eight is excellent for Cantoneese (if it's still there). Selection of chippies, good food in the White Hart on Chapel Green. Greasy burger van in town centre on Friday/Saturday night should be avoided if you value your health...
