Does anybody know Stephen and Janet Hoy,
I think they moved to richmond in yorkshire.
Stephen is my cousin so any information will be very helpful.
There are others in the Hoy family who I do not know of at the moment .

Stephens grand parents lived in steeple bumpstead and their names were william Hoy and Gertrude Smith.
As my father was born out of wedlock he took his mothers name.
I went to the old school in steeple bumpstead as I live with my grand parents for a while.

Is that the Tony Barret of Saltbox Club fame?

Reference the earlier posts I remember Bill Gomm who had a Triumph sidecar outfit which he painted lilac to match the Satbox logo colour.

    Hi

I remember some of the Penfold family and many others from then. After the Bygone Croydon pages were started on Facebook I started listing all the names I remembered from Devonshire Road.

For example, there was a coronation party with tables and chairs at the cul-de-sac end, and some games. Sylvie Letts fell over during the Egg and Spoon Race but got up and laughed a... more >>

Does anyone know or remember Gloria Smith who lived at Lansdowne Road East Croydon with her mum about 1962/63? She had two older sisters, jennifer and Sandra. I would love to know what she is up to now.
I was also friendly with Linda Tullett who lived in Alexandra Road with her family about the same time, she went to St Andrew's school and would love to know what happened to her too.
