Skateboarding Spots
- By Westow Park there is a sainsburys and a nice little car park where you can skate in but it gets very busy at times so be careful of what time you go.
- Crystal Palace is getting a decent longboarding scene.If you go to the top of the park near the lake bit...a lot of them bomb that hill and congregate on sunny days.they are pretty decent!
- A straight, no push, run from The East side of the Ruins all the way down to the bottom of the park and you can continue on into penge if ya would want to!
- The big (or not so big) old ramp in the National Sports Centre is ancient history, but there are still some places to skate. Small banks in the Sports Centre by the big bust just by the big steps from the car parks. Also "Sadlands" -- a strange kids paddling pool with all kinds on concrete ledges and bumps. In Norwood park: head for Crown Point from Crystal Palace along Westow Hill and Central Hill. Park is on your right after about half a mile, opposite the convent.
