There are some very truthful topics that are relevant to every village in the Barnsley area.I currently live in the bungalow estate with my wife and we are hoping to move very soon. So here are my ideas about the place. I am 25 years old and lived in Darfield for 20 years. I attended Wombwell High Secondary School between 2000-2005

• BUNGALOW ESTATE TRUETELLER POINT (17): Lots of plain looking women in Darfield and my bungalow estate that settle down with manual workers and blokes without degrees. Because it is the best they can attract. Stunning blokes and blokes with degrees do not want Darfield women.
• BUNGALOW ESTATE TRUETELLER POINT (18): Lots of plain looking blokes in Darfield and my bungalow estate that can only attract women in crap none degree entry requirement degrading jobs. Stunning women and women with successful careers earning £30’000pa and above do not want Darfield blokes without degrees.
• BUNGALOW ESTATE TRUETELLER POINT (19): There are some families within the Darfield and my Bungalow estate that follow in a long established tradition of claiming more tax out of the country (state) than they have ever paid in. First the mother spends years claiming for a large number of kids. Then when the kids have grown up they also have kids and claim tax benefits for years.
• BUNGALOW ESTATE TRUETELLER POINT (20): Darfield and particularly my bungalow estate is full of two face do-gooders. All the two faced do-gooders have skeletons in their history. These are fake squeaky clean people. But they still love to gossip about other people.
• BUNGALOW ESTATE TRUETELLER POINT (21): Darfield blokes and particularly those living near my bungalow always settle down with women in crap degrading jobs. None of them attract and settle down with successful career women that earn £30’000pa or above. Those rare few women with degrees are fouler than the usually foul standard.
• BUNGALOW ESTATE TRUETELLER POINT (22): Darfield and my own bungalow estate is dominated by non-inspiring people that bore you within ten seconds of opening their mouths. None of them are interesting or living great lives. More round the roundabout soul destroying people, 99% of these people do not even have a University Degree.
• In defence of Darfield, my wifes original village of Brampton is worse than my home village, we both met at Wombwell High.
• The worse thing is the bus on the way to school. It never arrives on time, stagecoach provide a rubbish service. If my parents had a TV that did not work good, or something else that did not do its job then they would change it. So why doesnt the council change the bus service provider. Stagecoach are not providing a good service.
• All the sexy girls have boyfriends from outside of Darfield
• Playing football in the rain for longbow football team juniors, we need indorr facilities
• to the prick who has got a lot to say about the gyspies come and say it to my face nobhead
• Foulstone School.. a clearing house for the unemployable.
• Is the large number of screaming children that run up and down all day on HENRY ST, Low Valley, most of these kids do not live on this street yet they make it a hell hole, there is no peace in the School holidays, they are loud, cheeky and rude children that play on this street, ones that lack descipline. All these children do is add to the noise level on Henry Street.
• The local bus service by Yorkshire Traction is terrible, it is a total lottery waiting for a bus. Loads never turn up.
• Is when Brandy the dog fucking barks, t barks for hours on end, and is a pain in the fucking bum, beware of the big brown sauage dog.
• The high number of degrading terrace houses in the village.
• Is when the local people in this village tell you to grow up. First thing is to ask yourself, who are these people to judge you?, secondly what have these people acheived?, thirdly if they were successful why are they still living in a shithole like this village? The local people definition of growing up is to place a twenty five year morgage around your neck, have two kids, a car, and a shit dead end job, that you will spend at least 20 years in. Then you will gain respect of the local population, also you are allowed an holiday a year.
• Is the number of local people who defend this town and see nothing wrong with it, ask them what it as done for their life's and they dont come up with a suitable answer, its time they look at their lifes and were honest, apart from holidays what fucking pleasure can this shithole give them?
• I onced bragged I was going to be a world football superstar - and my parents did as well, I was suppose to be the greatest, now I play for a shitty non league team, and I am an embrassment to the football non-league. My life is demeaning.
• Brandy the dog, this dog never stops barking, I have lived in this town for nearly two years, and I am sick of listening to this dog. When it starts barking I turn my music up load, to drown it out, yet the owners of this dog moaned about me playing my music load, at least the noise had a tune. My wife as just had a baby, what future as this baby got listening to this dog. This village is a terrible place to live. Nobody is bothered about their neighbours.
• The locals are racist to outsiders, anybody that looks different, anybody with s suntan, anybody who dosnt mix with the locals.
• I use to live down Henry Street in Low Valley, Darfield with my parents before they split up and married other people, during this time about 17 years I live at the side of dogs that would not stop barking, what a fucking racket this dog made every day, most of the time it bark at nothing. But it is not alone, I spoke to somebody from that area in the last month, and they told me their are about six dogs now that don't stop barking. I left this area in 2001. Since then I have lived in five different places in the Barnsley area, and I have never come across a dod that makes so much fucking noise
• The people around this village accept the following employment positions as specialist jobs, when the rest of the country thinks they are employment jobs for thicko's, people without degrees. Joiners, factory workers, production line workers, team leaders, plasters, carpet fitters, taxi drivers, construction workers, fish and chip shop workers, forklift truck drivers. The locals have always accepted shit jobs and always will.
• Trying to find a girlfriend or wife around this village, that is not like a second hand dart board by the age of 20, attractive, and friendly. I have lived here all my life and I think the local women are horrible. I have had three girlfriends, one a brazilian, one spanish, one Italian (all students). I would not have a local women.
• This village is like living in the big brother house on channel 4 ITV. Everybody likes to know what everybody else is doing, their business. Everywhere you go you are seen by thicko locals. Everybody watches you, if people dont know your business they make up rummurs about you, because it is not natural in this village to keep yourself to yourself. The locals love to gossip about other people.
• Nobody in this village likes to see anybody else to do better than themselfs.
• The people of this town like to put you into catergories, like you must be married by 25 or you are gay, you also get more repsect if you have 10 children to 10 different women, than if you are single. Living in this village does not give you much selection when it comes to women, possible girlfriends and wifes.
• Is the number of barking dogs in the village, particulary in the Low Valley part of the village, around George Street, Henry Street, Pitt Street. There must be at least a dozen dogs that never stop barking all day when the owners are out at work and the kids at college and school, but then again these dogs continue to bark when the owners are in, god knows how they hear themselfs talk, most of these dogs bark at fresh air. These dogs are no benefit to anybody, all they do is spoil peoples peace, people annoyed by these dogs play loud music to drown out the noise, which just adds to the noise problem. If I had a dog like that I would get it put down, the shame thing is when the dog dies, they just replace it by another barking dog. So take this as a warning for all those people who are considering moving into the Low Valley area in the newly built houses, ask yourself do you want to listen to barking dogs all day, if not find somewhere else to live. .
• Own Modelling Business In 2002 I opened a modelling business in this town, I have branches in Australia, London, USA and I was trying to find new locations and new faces. I have supplied over 5000 models to clients over the past six years. And currently have over 2000 on my UK books. Well I have scouted this area for the past twelve months, visiting companies, the local pubs at weekends, walking the streets, and I have to say I have never seen such an ugly looking bunch of people in one place, the men are like thugs, and the women aren�t proper women. In fact in this time I only saw one handsome looking man and he is already on the books of a modelling agency, and he does not look like a local, more of latin European, and I cannot match his wages. So after 12 months I have closed this business down at a business loss of �42�000 for administration wages, and rent.
• House Prices Why do people buy property in this town for �90�000 and above is beyond me, this town is a shit hole not Malibu beach or Australia. This place is a dump, one estate looks the same as the next, yet they keep building houses. Why is there a demand to live in such a town like this, but then again most people that come to live here will be working class scum. But then again people don�t pay �90�000 in cash, they have to get loans, so they haven�t bought the property, they are in the process of buying it.
• The women are so fucking ugly it is not natural, most are butch and talk very loud.
• What kind of future could you have married to a local Darfield lass, it is not worth thinking about, very few have �95'000pa lawyer positions, in fact very few earn �20'000pa. What a shit hole.
