Clothes Shops, Shoe Shops, Fashion and Bargains
- Oxfam is always worth a look, ignore the twats who say different you just get good deals. Guru and arcadia are good for alternative stuff but if you want decent shopping get yourself to Middlesbrough or Newcastle!
- Guru is great for your alternative clothes. Not bad prices.
- Got ta say it's In Arcadia every time, everything from Goth, leather and PVC, Punky Fish and general alterantive wear. Plus the biggest range of body jewellery I have ever seen.
- The crow's shut down, they sold new rocks, and were really cool, now i gotta go to Newcastle. poo.
- new look - tammy
- rubbish
- Fourth Chamber, Post House Wind (Wynd?) - Expensive, but great for up to the minute fashionable streetwear. Labels include 55DSL, Carhartt, Penguin, Boxfresh and Marshall Artist.
- Ladies fashion house at the grange in HURWORTH, just near darlington, just about three miles from the town centre. open fri and sat with huge discount on womans fashion. trade prices.
- Crow & Guru are GREAT for those with alt. tasts. Guru is cheaper but sitll very expensive, and staff are really friendly too. Colin in Guru has a really cute dog too :)
- Rubber sole on Blackwellgate, some really cool shoes and gear.
- urban chaos, 4th chamber, guru,crow
- Go Poolies!
- The proliferation of second hand shops in any high street is always a good indicator to house prices. And sleeping policemen will give you a quick reassurance that you will go out to your car in the morning to find it with no wheels. Or engine.
- it's getting better..dont forget to check out the more hidden shops such as "the box", "leggs", "heaven", and "Rise" ....
- berties
- burties and the box hav the best clothes
- 4th chamber is new and the only place to shop, good mix of urban, street, skate clothing. (is not a skateboard shop)

- Another 'Trendy' place is Leggs in Skinnergate - they have all the usual Miss Sixty/O'Neill and a multitude of other gear in.
- By far the best shop in Darlington for Girls is HEAVEN.
Nice clothes with no attitude.
- New look,Gap at Metro centre,binns.
- Go to be fourth chamber where john the boy will sell you his collection of "high profile clothing" while doing his best to leave his shop unattended while i constantly thretten to steal all his stock. its a sound shop though, on post house wynde- or somethin.
- Save up a decent amount, then get the train to middlesbrough and buy a few items in one go. If you do have to buy something in darlo (last minute top etc) then remember you will be paying over the top for an out of season garment - you have been warned.
- box has just opened a shop for all your going out to pull birds clothing needs.
- there are no decent funky clothes shops in darlo now neil has closed soul clothes. someone please hear our cry.
- a lot of good clothes shop so you can get your groove on at the weekend.
- Binns has the lot.....
- OXFAM ONLY 50P FOR A DECENT SET OF CLOTHES.....WHAT A DEAL!!!
- If you like your clothes with a hint of retro, why not try Funky Stuff opposite Post House Wynd, near Argos? Or try one of the multitudinous charity shops in the vicinity.
- M&S for those new grots
- A couple of more trendier places are Berties, Reporter and Binns (House of Fraser) usually have some good stuff in.
- It's Soul Clothes and Funky Stuff Warehouse and Oasis are about the best of the bunch in Binns
