- The Voodoo Cafe above In Arcadia, 84 Skinnergate, is Darlington's only Latino cafe. Amazing Mexican and South American Food and easily the best coffee in Darlington. There prices are really good value, with nothing on the menu above £5:00. This really makes it an excellent place to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere.
- The Voodoo Cafe above In Arcadia: 84 SKinnergate, Darlington, sells the best cup of coffee in Darlington and is the only Latino Cafe, with Mexican, Peruvian and other South American dishes on the menu. And most dishes are priced under £5 This is the one place not to be missed.
- My favourite cafe is In Arcadia first floor café at 84 Skinnergate. It boasts that it is the worlds first Tarot Cafe, where after coffee (probably the only decent coffee in Darlington) you can make an appointment with their resident medium for a psychic consultation. All the food in the cafe is of an excellent standard and Very! Reasonably priced

- Coopers in Post House Wynd for the more mature tea and scone consumer.
- Wades!!!! But OTTAKERS is excelletn too, cos you can read the books there and they do georgie mango squishies at summer. Shame it's over-priced and the staff are pompus to those under the age of 18

- Blends up one of the little alleyways near to Chip that computer shop
- Le Tiffin on Skinnergate = best coffee in D'ton & good prices. Only downside, not open on a Monday!
- Imperial Centre
- Gulp - expensive but nice. Also binns offer a 2nd cup of coffee for 50p - less than half price.
- some good eatin to be had at the cafe by the pennywieght it also sell's bOozE...
