You can tell us more about Darlington.

Musical Instrument Shops and DJ Gear
  • Check out The Darlington Music Centre 2 door away from Rons Music , Huge shop excellent staff and resonable prices,
  • The argument over whether Ron's or Williams is best has died..... Williams is tradimg no more!
  • Well, seeing as Williams has gone to the wall, looks like Rons has it all. Not bad for a little shop that started above a catering company with everything on sale or return!
  • Just stick to Rons Music Shop. The service is much better than Williams and you will not get ripped off and you can try before you buy or thinking of buying. ignore this comment avoid Rons music like the plague, talking out of his a***. Bought loads of gear from a good musician and a pro unlike Williams who are more concern with high over rate prices and staff.
  • Definately Williams - things have changed for the better, there. Very knowledgeable staff, good range of stuff, excellent ordering of stuff they haven't got.
  • Williams cna get pretty much anything in, rons r ok, but refuse to accept we haved moved on since the 70's!!!
  • Ron's music strait talkin no bull williams is good Rons is best Eric n Lynne
  • Williams Music opposite Binns
  • Rons!!! it rules the roost! williams r too up themselves! rons knows real music and teaches real music!!!
  • if you want a good deal get into teesside's bandland , little family firm... dead cheap good service.
  • Williams is excellent value, and you can choose many different ways of paying fro expensive things, so even if your skint, you could buy your dream drum kit or guitar :D The staff are OK, but Ron's music is crammed with nice people. The guys that hang around in there always chat, and want you to try out any instrument you want. Shame it's very over-priced. Darlo is great for music stores.
  • rons music kno ther stuff wiv guitars n drums, williams do evryfin
  • Go Poolies!
  • Williams. Is it still there? A lobely girl there once tried to show me her maracas.
  • Williams is okay - good stock and prices. Rons is absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs. The guy was rude and his stock was tatty. Tried to get me to buy a Les Paul on his strange "layoff plan".
  • avoid Rons music like the plague...Pete is a dodgy bloke who tried to scam me on my guitar. Go to williams instead - it's just down the road, has much more stock and is cheaper. Oh, and the staff wont try and con you !
  • Williamsons
  • Go to Williams, not Rons! Ron is a dodgy guy who will intervene, scam and rip you off. Go to Williams, often not more expensive, and when it is, its because it didn't fall off the back of a delivery truck, unlike at Rons. Lessons are mediocre
  • Rons!
  • Rons is good but Williams is too, Me and a friend went in with only the intenesion of buying a plectrum and the guy let us play a les paul and the electronic drum kit.
  • Rons music is ok. Williams is overpriced and the staff are pompous. Drive down the road to Northallerton and go to the Rock Box instead. Superb service, no rush, and really friendly.
  • Williams is the best but theres another one just down the road from it
  • Williams Music, Rons Music
  • rons music , williams music store
  • that one next to Guru and the bank on the corner of binns
  • Rons!!!! The No1 guitar shop
  • Ron's Music - excellent guitar shop with great free advice Williams Music - AVOID, chinless wonders on the keyboard demo buttons haven't a musical bone in their weedy bodies; distinctly unhelpful.
  • Williams and Roys
  • No idea, probably williams - bear in mind though if you don't look like you are earning 25k plus a year you probably won't get much help
  • Darlington train station always has at least 17 buskers on a Sunday Morning!
  • Williams on the High Street
  • RONS MUSIC
  • Williams - more pianos than you can throw a stick at and a hoopy collection of acoustics.
