You can tell us more about Darlington.

Record Shops
  • CEX and HMV.
  • HMV In the cornmill or Music Zone in Queen Street Arcade - Queen Street cheaper
  • HMV may be very over-priced, but it's the only place in Darlo that we've found
  • Go Poolies!
  • the music box, HMV, Sanity
  • sound force
  • try soundforce on north road or vinyl junkies for all ur rave and bouncy techno needs!!!!!
  • there is hmv, virgin ect... but a second music shop up a side street near binns is worth a visit, cheap and some jems, clarks yard (i think)
  • HMV, my bro works there so i get discount hahahaha.Hes the fat moody one :)
  • HMV, Sanity (formerly Our Price, then Virgin, then V Shop)
  • none-unless the market
  • Hello? Has no-one noticed the new HMV in the Cornmill Centre? Best record shop in town by far.
  • Solid Sounds used to be really good! Then they had a corporate make-over by a company called Impulse and went bust. The windows have been marked with "Closed for stock take - Reopen tomorrow" for about 6 months now. V-Shop is the only place now.
  • The one in the cornmill is the most expensive - however it does have the best choice so sometomes you may have to pay that little bit extra to get what you want. whsmith is the cheapest in town(I have tried them all) normally selling CD albums for £2:00 less than anywhere else
  • the v shop is the only one left and it sucks...
  • there is no music shops left in darlo, someone please hear our cry.
  • i guess the v shop is the best music shop now.
  • Virgin Megastore...full of em'
  • FREDS SHOP!!!
  • Impulse, in Duke's Street. Vic of the local band Solanoid works here.
  • Solid sounds is the best, and cheapest, though a new place has opened up recently on Duke Street opposite Douglas and Dixon News (shameless plug). Can't remember the name. Our Price has a good range, but expensive.
  • Guru - wild hippy chick hang-out
  • Northern sky music, Duke Street
