• Albies (spelt wrong) now called Rivals. Pretty serious allegation about bootleg drink and about the bouncers. It was a good venue when a bloke called Paul was manager so you better have hard evidence if you where referring to him.
• The kooks were rumored to play in Deal a couple of weeks ago but apparently they couldnt get the councils permition, i think it was going to be in victoria park? Deal is pretty crap for bigger bands, indigo in folkstone are good for big bands and a great night out on the cheap!
• There are so few - the Clarendon on a Sunday, Fleur de Lis in Sandwich need more!!!!!
• Albies is the biggest shithole in kent, theres more life in a pea!. beware of the doormen, they have no brains, little dicks and big mouths, and are among the worse culprits for violence in the town, and the manager needs investigating for buying stolen and bootleg alcohol and selling it in the bar. The quarterdeck stinks of piss beer, and isnt any better tha the other dive. the bandstand is pathetic, its an insult to the marines that died if thats the best they can offer by way of a memorial.

• Local bands used to play the Astor, but haven't in years. The Admiral Nelson has bands on sometimes.
• The Walmer Castle south street. Great jamming seshion every thursday night.Some of deals best entertainers gather her for a great night`s jamming.And live music every Sunday
• Plently of pubs have bands in.
• The Clarendon, a pub that's open till late.
