Cheap Food
- Denholme has a decent chippy and a chinese take away
- the chink is pretty good, decent food wicked prices
- IMPERIAL ON THORNTON ROAD IS NICE, BUT THE CHINESE TAKE AWAY IN THE VILLAGE IS EXCELLANT. THE FISH AND CHIP SHOP DOES OKAY BUT HAS VERY SHORT OPENING HOURS, AND YOU CAN ALWAYS GET SAVOURIES FROM THE BAKERY
FOR DELIVERY, THE VILLAGE IN THORNTON IS DECENT AT CURRIES BUT ALSO DOES SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN AND BURGERS, BUT WE ARE JUST OUTSIDE THE DELIVERY ARE OF PIZZA HUT (KEIGHLEY IS THE BASE) WHICH IS A PAIN.
- main street fishery - only do, fish, chips, mushy, peas, gravey, sausage and of cause... spam!i would say the chinky in denholme is the best for genuine cantonese food in west yorkshire. the only place thats better is of cause the chinky on the corner of my mums street in good old liverpool. oh yeh the coop and the corner shop do sandwiches, but i wouldn't if i was you. the local bakery has a fine selection of confectionary delights and savoury pastory items as well as being able to knock together a half decent butty. also the new ii does food. if you don't mind the walk, there are the greesy spoon vans on flapit and a cafe in cullingworth, were there is also a chip shop and chinky. and failing all that there is of course the friendly delivery type service offered by local takeaway type places, free for orders over a fiver. be nice to your mum and she might let you in the kitchen.
- Chippy, not open on a night!!, Chinese, not open during the day!! there was going to be an indian takeaway next to the Chippy but the local powers that be in there wisdom denied it cos there was'nt enough parking space (quite on a night busy during the day, when the chippy is open...go figure!)
- there is a few in the area,look in the yellow pages
- Chippy(nice fish) and chinese.
- we have a very good chinky hi cam
- Take away the dirt in the park & eat it
