- were lucky enough not to have any eye sore's tho i bet alf the childre would like to see thier school flatterned...
- Oh, please, .. you're forgetting the gaggingly gross building (currently occupied by Iceland)on Maryport St. Clearly the result of a freak meeting in the early 70's, when ALL the members of the Local Planning Board forgot their glasses. This building has the unfortunate distinction of being the only one that makes the Iceland signage look discreet and tasteful.
By the way, Prince Charles asks after you all the time. I'll tell him to text you next time.
- Probably the building at the top of most people's hit list is the old Co-Op building on the corner of Snuff Street. Now occupied by newsagents Dillons, the addition of enough strip lights to make the sun look dull has not improved the appearance of what can only be described as a brick-built shed. In fact, next time Prince Charles wants to rant about a carbuncle on the face of an old friend I will point him in its direction. That is of course if he bothers to ask me!
