You can tell us more about Doncaster.
Hookup Spots
- The gutter outside revolution
- Skate park at Sprotbrough absolutely brill
- WE always go n get pissed up on bentley park, brill!!
- we like anywhere dark and dingy
- goose cheap wine great atmosphere
- frenchgate
- doncaster is a fantastic place, nothing like some on this notice board describe it
- the entire town is a dump, steer well clear. the people think they are the coolest in the world and they still point and throw sticks at planes passing overhead.
- got to be 'ing' alley- so named because anything ending in ing has been done down it. Behind Biscuit Billy's and Shite Bear
- boiler rooms
- For those who have (thank goodness) got out of the armpit of Britain, that is Doncaster, but who unfortunately are forced out of family/friends/masochistic reasons to go back there, Central Park is the place to be... The food, atmosphere and clientele is top notch (ie. not very many of Doncaster's innumerous ever-breeding under race of chavs know this place exists... well, not yet... but the said group of people probably wouldn't be able to afford it there anyway...) But, that aside, Central Park kicks ass and has a local jazz band playing once a month, which is very good indeedy... A group of us meet there quite often when we are back in Doncaster and always have a good time drinking/chatting/chilling...

- regent square - perfect for you to hang around. sometimes there's townies there getting drunk though. also priory walk for goths and skaters. there's no better place in town.
cantley park too. massive golf course and woods next to it. walk through the woods and it's a skate park.
- toast, very goog on priory walk
- Grove Park on Armthorpe Road just coming out of town
Odeon, always people there
The Dome, loads to do and loads of people to see
Leisure Park - It's got a Maccie D's , The Dome, Vue Cinema, Bowling Alley, ASDA?, Pubs and a restaurant, always stuffto do there
- Go to www.doncastermusic.org.uk to meet up with skaters and other people interested in the local and alternative music scene!
- Outside HMV is usually a good place.
- A really cool hook up spot has to be the small town square, next to Regent Hotel. It's always quite and probably the best part of town, in the summer its a great sun trap and provided's relief from the dirty, messy town centre!
- near gamestation in the market
- A not very good place to hang about is anywhere inside the Frenchgate centre. Security always tell you to move if you've been stood there for a while. A good place is MacDonalds and even if no-one is there its still a great place to eat.
- Ventura sandwich bar opposite the collage and st James baths. Really great sandwiches and cheap! made fresh as you order brilliant. They also do pasta in a salad selection.
- The easiest place to pull, has to be the Visarge on silver street. If you fail in here then you're a failure in life. You have to pull.
The pizza haous across the road is always a good place to be about 1am as you get to see fight after fight. Once it's finished, walk out, there's bound to be someone in tears who needs comforting.
- Anywhere NOT inhabited by the Rockport wearing, Fred Perry bummers in their cheap tight jeans!
Those Big metal benches outside HMV/M&S-always lots of people hanging around, sure to find someone to talk to, plus you can listen to the music coming from HMV
- The escalator outside argos in the frenchgate centre.. Dare to stop for a second upstair to check out the talent and an ear bashing 'Move on please lads' or 'go for a walk' from the beefy (Yea right) secuirty
- Sandall Park
- Outside Argos in the Frenchgate Centre
- theres a place called the point near to elmfield house- it does all sorts of drama and dancing\music things- suprisingly modern 4 donny- it has a coffee place and exhibit area also
- Maybe Paris Gate was a meeting place for 'fresh-faced youths' but, June 2001, it's closed all the time - where the heck do these young-uns go now?
- outside our price
- We always seem to meet up in the bus station as we all get there around the same time.
- All the kids seem to hang out between Burger King and Paris Gate, I hate going on there up to 9pm (when most of them should be in bed). The bus shelters opposite Karisma are often full of discarded condoms because these kids have no idea how to use them - usually after 'nappy night', the once a month 'teens' disco there.
- Paris Gate
- there is usually a large gathering outside the dome with their iceskates
- THE hook up place in Doncaster at the moment has to be McDonalds, I normally meet my mates in the Paris Gate pub like but thats just us alchi's, everyone else is stood around outside Macca D's!
- The Frenchgate corner outside Burger King is THE place to hook-up with mates.
- Inevitably the Frenchgate and Waterdale shopping centres and attached bus stations. Doncaster's such a big area that it's the easiest place to find people.
