- oh yes very civilized and continental they are wasted in donny the chavs would rather drink white lightning and piss on the pavements
- Woods Tea Rooms (on Wood Street) has always been the place for a nice cup of tea and scone... For trendier dwellings, check out bflat near Walkabout, down Priory walk for good coffee... Otherwise it's the greasy spoon option...

- the downstairs of wokmania and there's a teeny cafe near the southern bus station. all things nice isn't bad either.
- Only one Cafe springs to my mind and it's a new one ran by a group of Turkish people and it is proper nice. I recommend the Panini's. Also they do Mince Pies and stuff. The food doesnt take longer than 10 minutes to come either
Oh and i heard that the Coffee Club is good.,
- bakers oven near the market is the best place for tuna, cheese and onion toasties! trust me, for decent priced and decent food, the place to go even tho grannies like it too!
- Lots of new coffee shops near the Mansion House
- theres a new one called hide, s'posed to be good
- Ventura sandwich shop Waterdale
- escoroma is vvv good- its a gr8 little escape- at the bottom of bradford row, it has comfy leather sofas- reminds me a little of a friends-esque coffee house although its very small the coffees very good
- The speedibar is no more, replaced by some posh coffee shop in May 2001. It will not last long as there's too many pubs in that area, especially when it's opposite the taxi rank as well.
- Try the cafe in the south bus stsion if you fancy mixing it with some of the roughest looking women in town who seem to sit in there all day with one cup of tea between them.
- theres a cool cappachino place - cant remember what its called though
- Best cake shop is Cooplands, they doo a loverly cream bum.
