- The cornwall has live bands regularly as well as some other pubs. There will always be something on at the arts centre or the corn exchange soo check them out. Liberty's is occasionally having live music too. A nearby place that you MUST check out is the three compasses at charminster. There is regularly jazz nights up there and its great! You can even get up and do your own thing if you want to.
- Cornwall Hotel for heavy metal thursday nights.
- Nothing for years. Then something happened. Look around town for posters advertising the latest Hardcore/punk/metal show at the Scout Hut or Corn Exchange. Recently we've had the likes of Liar, Born From Pain, Fourwaykill, Aura Sun, Set in Silence and Breaking Days! Not forgetting local legends Iam2 (R.I.P.) and MeltDown.
- Liabilities (liberties) now host's freedom a night of techno, beats and breaks, hip-hop, electro and funky house! The first decent regular night in town ever!mind you i am biased as my mates are the d.j's!
- If you like jungle or techno there is often Dj's playing in the George on trinity St. opposite iceland on a friday and saturday.
- A few Dorch. pubs do music- check out the gig guide in the Echo on Thursdays.
- What?.......in Dorch, I don't think so!
- Live music! Yes, live music! At The Junction every Thursday night! Also check out The King's Arms and The Station Masters (these guys run prettty regular Karaoke contests as well).
- Very few pubs do music regularly. Try Weymouth.
