Record Shops
- Black Cat records in Tudor Arcade is probably the best for more rare music, then u've got woolworths, smiths etc.
- just one down Tudor Arcade. Can't remember the name but you know it when you see it.
- Black Cat is now the only shop that sells good cds and have dropped prices a bit after rubbish sanity left
- music shops in dorch are pretty crap..theres one good one in the tudor arcade sells good and rare stuff other than that its woolworths, can i remind its dorchester it was never gonna be a good place to shop.
- black cat
- Sanity
- The geezer in the Tudor Arcade.
- big brians records in the tudor arcade in the town centre.
- Big Brians, Down the Arcade in the middle of town.. Excellent shop, the owner has good knowledge of all things music.
- Big Brian's record shop. A big Brian and a tiny record shop, but it's fab- very personal and helpful. especially for DJs and those of interesting taste.
- Does anyone here remember......Tape 1?
- Big Brian's plus a load of stalls at the weekly market on Wednesdays -- some of them sell stuff that I wouldn't use to torture my worst enemies but some of it is actually good stuff (although it's always worth checking CDs to see how scratched they are on the back). The problem with any small town is that for new CDs you're going to get ripped off because the only stores their are the big flashy chains (actually, we've only got Our Price), there's no Select-A-Disc or anywhere like that which is really irritating. Try mail order.
- Big Brians Record Shop, Tudor Arcade, if he hasnt got it he'll get it, if he cant get it, ....tough. top bloke !
- There used to be an excellent little record shop in the Tudor Arcade (the one going down towards Waitrose) where people just hung out as well as buying stuff. I hope it hasn't closed.
