  • Go to the IFI in temple bar for local films and really good arty films. They also play alot of b-rate cheese too
  • IMC in Bloomfields. Its brilliant, has every movie see-able, and good food. Bray's cinema is run down. With old movies, I would NOT reccommend bray's cinema.
  • the IMC dun laoighre
  • If you want a real laugh, go to the Stella in Rathmines. 1950's vintage seating, floorboards, and damp-marks on the "screen". Good and cheap though :-)
  • Ster Century Liffey Valley-best cinema and I'm even a Northsider I shouldn't be saying that but it really is the best
  • The IFC in Temple Bar... great arthouse films and a great pub -- get confused and get trashed.
  • U.G.C. cinema on Parnell St, Northside next to the old Imax building.
  • An IMAX cinema just opened somewhere in the Northside.
