Favourite Building in Dunfermline, Fife*

Art deco, contemporary, futuristic, tall, short...

You can tell us more about Dunfermline.

Favourite Building
  • Alhambra - a big venue with a bit of atmosphere
  • Velocity (was The Kinema Ballroom)
  • Library!!
  • Dunfermline Abbey
  • the abbey
  • East End Park! Gorgeous! Just gorgeous!
  • The New Queen Anne high school is fanasic compared to the old one and I love Abbot House!
  • carneige hall's quite nice,
  • The 'cold war' architecture of dunfermline's concrete bus station is worth travelling the globe for.
  • Queen anne high!
  • Abbey, Palace, Library, Abbot house, the historical quarter. Should be better cared for though.
  • Council office's, Maygate
  • Carnegie Library - the world's first. The Abbey, and Palace.
  • the fire station
  • the old castle runins down by the glen
  • The flats at the edge of town, I live on the outskirts of Dunfermline in a little village - so luckily I feel I have escaped it's visious wrath, anyway when I see these flats it reminds me how lucky I am I dont live there.
  • The abbey. Sitting in the graveyard on a sunny afternoon is so chilled out
  • Andrew Carnegie'S Birth Place and The old palace ruins!!
  • OLD WELLWOOD CLUB THEY SHOULD HAVE LEFT IT THE WAY IT WAS
  • City Chambers, looks like a fairy-tale castle, also all the air-shafts from the mine workings found in the middle of fields to the west of the town - strangely fascinating.
  • tha Abbey and some of the pubs down the maygate area
  • The library.
  • City Chambers and Abbey - the two nice buildings in Dunfermline
  • City Chambers
  • The job centre. It used to be one of the best pubs in Dunfermline called Whiskey Joe's, until it burnt down. Check out the boarded up Hollywood Boulevard - it used to be Scotlands no.1. nightspot, and was frequented by the Hitman & Her.
  • Dunfermline Abbey - A beautiful ancient abbey set just beside Dunfermline Town Centre. Around the top of one of the towers is written 'King Robert The Bruce' as the Abbey is where he is buried
  • Dunfermline City Chambers loks like a fairy tale palace, and what goes on inside is truly surreal
