Skateboarding Spots
- I don't skate
- There's a council skate site behind the Carnegie Hall, it looks the business as far as i (a non skater) can tell
- Behind the Carnegie Hall theres a skate park.
- 2 killochan way.......big stairs to rail and loads of other stuff come and see worth the walk!!!!!!!>............<><><>>
- **BIG NEWS** church with a 9 set and 6 set ledges smooth carpark brill skatespot near queen margerat hospital
in front of the doctors
- The skatepark, but that needs flood lights for these dark winter *&^ty nights.
Other then that the factorys are good....... if you know where 2 find them wma ha ha ha ha........ its got gaps stairs and a thing we call "they voicinator" no offense but tht security guard sucks ass!
- yo dunfermline has some great skate spots round my area such as the closed down petrol station is great for street skating and the high school is not that great but still pretty decent and if all else fails skate down kier hardie workers are always leaving stuff lying around just waiting to get grinded
- the maternaty and all those other places will mentioned its all good
- ah what can i say apart from the factories what a place to skate the hammers definently get trown down there. thats if you can find them hahaha
- The elusive and mysterious factories, where all the hammers are thrown down.
- The mysterious Factories!!
- Has nobody here heard of the new skatepark behind the Music institute?!
The council are still building stuff there, but it is definitely skateable.
It has a huge tranisition bank which goes from 0-8ft and has a roll in.
As well as that, there are a couple of rails a fly-off and a huge quarter pipe.
There is also a fun box in the middle of the park and the whole thing is covered
in smooth concrete. The only bad point is that the street spine is too steep.
Not quite Livi or Perth, but it still rocks.
- Skate spot for bikes and skates behind the Music Institute at the Carnegie Hall.
- Just outside dunfemline the is the town of cowdenbeth, there a sk8 prk due to b built there very soon (2nd qurtr 2003) it will have 1 or 2 half pipes, a few qurtr pipes 2 ramps and a couple of grind poles.
- Carnegie statue in The Glen.
- Townhill Park has a large bowl with a table top in the middle. there is no vert so yer ollies will count. There is also a grind rail just outside the bowl so if yer good enough you can pop out the bowl onto it. Take a brush cause the locals like to deposit there bucky bottles in it.
- the glen i guess but beware of police arses! (no offence!)
- Down the Glen at the Andrew Carnegie statue!
- The so called skate parks dotted about are pathetic, two q-pipes, a rail and a launch ramp on a realy rough old tennis court on the way out of town. Check out the odion carpark, worth a look 'cause there is a bit away from the building that is never used, nice smoooooth tar and a plethera of curbs, the odd gap/transfer to be had to, we have only ever been there at night, but never had any hastle from the security. The main gate to the glen park in the centre has two nice walls just inside the gate, though the run to one of them is sketchy as hell. This is new built so expect the feds to be round to throw you off if you are post pubesant. there are the odd banks kicking about to, outside st.leonards church has a small bank, realy steep and short but god fun. We are told that we are getting a proper park next year (2002) but i wouldn't hold my braeth, there is however a concrete bowl in townhill village (2 minutes drive over townhill itself) and a mini ramp in the mining village of oakly. (oakly is not a place not to be known in after dark, be aware.)
- a pathetic excuse of a skatepark just up the road from dunfermline high with a wicked throwup from the graff master zero
- The Underpass going up to the Big roundabout at the top of the town has some cool banks and the Park that is next to it has got some cool rails and bank to rails. The Andrew carnegie monument in the glen is not bad for a meeting place and to warm up for a skate session. All inall, The only thing going for Dunfermline is it has a few alright skate spots but they are spread out all over the place. King Malcolm Hotel and the primary school nearby isn't bad either
- Since most skateboarders are likely to get lifted if caught skating through the high street, the glen is still the best place. OAPs will never be safe...
- The Glen, your bound to knock over a couple of pensioners.
